    Hi, GRE is a norm for the US universities, not Canada. Here, most PhD programs do not require GRE, usually need a graduate degree such as Master's to get in.

    Only a person who has been a student at all 3 places can actually give you an unbiased picture. I suggest you decide what your priorities are and then go from there. Every place has its advantages and disadvantages. Good luck!

    Reason for your rejection seems to be the fact that the program you applied for 'Project management' is not directly related to your past studies 'BSc. Computer Sci'. Maybe apply for something more closely related, perhaps a Masters/PGD in Computer Sci? Good luck!

    The concept of 'gap' comes in only if you have nothing to show for that time. If you were working during that time, you can attach proof of the same and there should be no problem. And yes, do explain the reason why you have decided to return to your studies in your SOP Good luck!

    Thanks for your reply. In case my PR doesn't get processed in this time (90 days), can I apply for an open work permit (my spouse is also a student) or go to my home country and await the PR decision? (without adversely affecting my current application)
