Hey guys, I finally heard about my infant son’s visitor visa. After 6 months of processing they have asked me to pay a fee for trp processing. I don’t understand because I applied for a trv. Has anyone else been in the same situation?
Pakistan but it’s processing in Abu Dhabi. Did you have to apply for a trp as well?

Just been a Silent reader uptill now but as I got my PPR I thought to let you all know,
I applied through GCKEY with my wife from Dubai, UAE for visiting as a purpose of tourism.
Application submission : 28th August 2022
Biometric Enrollment : 2nd September 2022
Eligibility start : 7th September 2022
BVL and PPR : 10th January 2023
Hope those are waiting you all get your decisions soon.

Biometric Enrollment : 18 July 2021
till date 11 January 2023, there is no update and just showing in process.
i sent many webforms as general and to Abu Dhabi embassy since September 2022 but no reply at all. just general reply (we will get back soon)
my question is ...can i apply again through the new IRCC PORTAL?
anyone applied in December 2022 or January 2023 and got a reply??

I applied for visit visa for my minor sister (8 years old). I am Canadian Citizenand my mother also has Canadian visit visa.

Raised two webforms, same generic response both times
Passport request: December 5, 2022
Don't lose hope.
Honestly, I am seeing more approvals. People have been waiting for several months, so I think to compensate their time loss on waiting the responses, they are approving each and every visit visa applications which was not the case before Covid-19.
Waiting might be worth in the end.

I applied through GC key since July 2021. No reply till date 15 Jan 2023
Yes same issue under my account, no application is showing i thinks its a technical error after site maintenance which was going on since morning
