Hi everyone,
Thought I'd share some good news, and my timeline. Got PPR for my husband today.
Applied: Abu Dhabi office

do you mean that you applied again and paid again as new application through the IRCC new portal on March, 2022 ?
because i have application also in GCkey since July. 2021 and still no update.
Yes, I paid and applied again. The IRCC website said that if you applied before Sept 2021, that you should resubmit.

Really frustrating after more than 10 months my visitor visa is refused. Don't know what to do, this is my second application for TRV.
I am refusing your application.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html).
I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your proposed length of stay in Canada is inconsistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

yes i know about the applications before September 07,2021 but they mentioned also that the application will remain in queue for processing.
but looks like they will never process it ..i sent many webforms but no reply.
i think i will submit new application in the new portal.
it is really frustrating and horrible processing time.

when was your first application?
was there any changes in your situation in the second application; like new job or more financial status?
did you show ties in your home country like properties or family?
do you have immediate family in Canada and mentioned that in the application?
also what about your travel history ? and if you have USA visa or not?

My first application was in December 2019 and refused in January 2020 and my second application applied in March 2022 and was refused on 24 Jan 2023.
* no changes in my job same employer
* yes I showed my properties, bank balance, Funds, and home ties.
* I don't have any family members or any friends in Canada
* I travel to many countries like turkey, morocco, Vietnam, etc.
* No I Don't have a US visa.
My travel date was only for ten days and I provided, tickets, hotel booking, company letter that states that I will rejoin the company.

i have applied from Abu Dhabi since Mar'22 and up to now no reply is given and status shows processing. Biomtric is not needed. since mine is valid.
* Visited Canada before.
* have Valid US visa.
i have also noticed you replied to someone saying ( Apply through New Portal if you have applied through GC key before.) mine i guess was applied through GC key may i know what is the diffrence between this and that ? and how do i apply through the new portal if needed.

if you apply through IRCC new portal, try to submit for re-consideration.
check the below member. she said applied for re-consideration and got approved.

No dear, I applied through GC Key, and in the letter, they said to reapply the application:
Next Steps:
• If you decide to apply again, know that:
○ your new application will be assessed on its own merits,
○ you must resubmit a new application and all relevant supporting documents and pay a new temporary resident application fee, and
○ your new application may be refused unless it is supported by new or different information that would satisfy the officer that you meet all application requirements.
Can I submit it for reconsideration or do I have to apply again?

i know it is very disappointing ....i suggest to send a webform and ask in the notes how to request for re-consideration from the GC key account .

Deen031201 applied in GCkey also in 2022 and application was processed sadly with refusal. so looks like they are still processing the GCkey applications.
for me , i have pending application in GCkey since July 2021 and till date no reply.
i am trying to apply now through the IRCC new portal, what i noticed is that it is more enhanced, simpler, no need to download and fill the PDF files and there is more specific question about USA non immigrant visa and you need to input all the details about it ( number and expiry date)
also easier to upload the supporting files.
i suggest you to send a webform to Abu Dhabi office ....usually they reply after sending multiple requests.
