Enquiry:
Hello, I have a question regarding proof of funds. I have declared in my EE profile I have $5000 in landing funds. I am living in New Zealand but have Canadian work experience. I am currently eligible for CEC. A I do not have a job offer supported by LMIA in Canada, do I need the minimum funds ~$12,000 or does this only apply for FSW? With $5000 states, current country of residence NZ and no job offer my EE is still eligible. If I get an ITA, do I have to prove I have the $5000 stated or the cut off fee of ~$12,000? If CEC applicants require the cut off fee of $12,000 is there a problem in the system that does not recognize this for those without a job offer/LMIA? Thank you for your help.
