Here's my question:

And here's their response:

Maybe they genuinely haven't thought this one through!

Do you guys mind telling me what your score was for CEC who got ITA's? my friend got 463 when he filled out his profile a few days ago so we want to have an idea of his chances

you are right. I got ITA via CEC and i see POF upload button.

My country of residence is Canada, and I also have a non-LMIA fulltime skilled job here. I got ITA under CEC. It's still asking me to upload POF documents. I declared 2000$ in my EE profile. And I am going to provide 2000$ as proof only. Anyway the information will be reviewed by an actual human being, not a computer. So they will ask you for further clarification later.

I have asked this question so many times now and never got an answer.. So I will ask again... Did anyone receive an ITA under CEC if they do not have LMIA ??
Yes, I Have.
I am qualified under CEC and i'm not in Canada and don't have LMIA. I met only CEC criteria not FSW.
PLs do not hesitate to ask any questions.

PS : I have asked so many questions posed here while filling ITA and still filling my application ( all guys are so helpful that no one bothered to answer and sorry no offense , but i will try to help with any questions if possible)

hey cathisking do you mind sharing if you have been asked to show proof of funds? If yes, are you showing the required minimum cut off score as per LICO?

Yes, I see pof button to upload. I don't have that much funds but I declared 18k while filing the EE profile and updated later to 14k but unfortunately my update is not reflecting. I'm planning to show what I have I.e around 10k in CAD and INR,rest will leave to VO. I can reject ITA and rejoin next draw but that doesn't make any sense as my finance situation won't change immediately.

You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office, unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada.

You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you).

It is so clear that if you are not working in Canada you have to have POF even if you are applying under CEC stream. Otherwise you will be rejected.

Yes, yes. I know that. I have a pretty good job here, and I am living here for 4 years. In the end it's a visa officer who checks it. Before EE came up they never bothered CEC people who were working in Canada with POF.
