Can anybody suggest which direction my application going?

even my gcms has the same wordings and also by a case analyst. I think foss is related to the criminal offences, so its good if it has no history.

yeah... unfortunately, when my file was transferred to the local VO... that's it. has been sleeping on for the past 3 months, without any trace of activity. i'm thinking whether there's anyway we can nudge them to have our application proceed to the next level.

all i know is that we only cleared both R10 (older notes say so) and R11.2 which are both crucial milestones. as for eligibility, it will remain open until security and criminality will be completed first. not sure whether anyone can comment otherwise.

Wait until the 6 months period is over then send them an email or CSE and specify your visa office..

You will get one response our of the following two: 1) proper feedback with some details OR 2) Simply its under evaluation and you have to wait ...

... This Excuse of "Under evaluation" gives them flexibility to hold an application forever i guess

You haven't had an old application to CIC.

It may be possible your file is still under security check, but to be honest, I find that hard to believe since others with a similar residence history as you have already got PPR from the same VO.

i thought once 11.2 is positive the eligibility is done. My gcms notes say criminality passed. And security: not started. What does your criminality status show?

FOSS is a list that canada has, concerning people they are watching for... these include those who have been denied visas in the past, or similar cases.

i went to canada before, but only via visitor visa... so i may have some entries with them. i would like to believe that "no history" is good news, or to mean "no history of bad record"... or just simply that i am not in the blacklist

Guys what does recommended passed exactly means ?my eligibility shows that and its been almost 8 months for me ..

FOSS is a database for checking consistency of immigration information. If it is done when you apply for citizenship, your PR information will appear and will be compared against your current application.
