understanding GCMS notes

Hi,

I applied for GCMS notes on 17th Dec.2015 (electronic copy) and I didn't hear anything from them.
So, I contacted them yesterday via., email.
I got the following message from them:
"Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office. According to our records, your request was completed on 25 january 2016. The response was mailed the same day. According to Canada Post delivery standards*, you should receive our response shortly."

I requested electronic notes (email one); however, they are sending it by post (Great CIC ??? ???).

Anyone help me, how you guys received the notes, by email or post?

did your spouse also sign the consent form when you aplied for gcms?

If she hasnt, all of her information will be hidden from your notes.

My eligibility also says met. I've read on this forum that eligibility is the last to be checked. However, my application has passed through several levels of eligibility assessment. Does it mean another eligibility will be done at the end?

I have asked the same question so many times but nobody replied hehe ! what does it say on your notes section ? mine says
"***AGENT REVIEW A 11.2*** A 11.2 assessment met. Review by CPC-0."
These are the last notes I have.... what baout you ??

I applied back on Dec 30th and received my document on Jan 25; however, did not see it until yesterday as it was in Junkmail. The surprise was that they sent me the physical file (i.e. copy of the documents I submitted) :-\ :-\ :-\.

I emailed them back explaining that I requested notes on file, and hoping that they will send me the correct copy. Did this happen to you before? did they rectify their mistake and send the requested documents? or they just ask you to submit a new request? ???

I submitted a new request just in case. I don't want to wait a week only to be told to submit a new request.

Received my GCMS notes today. Generated on 1/4. 267 Pages. Pretty much the same update as PN2511.

Eligibility - Met
Criminality/Medical - Passed
All other Not Started.

On the day that my BG changed to Not Needed, A11.2 was updated as Met and my application seems to have been moved to CPC-O from CIO. Couple of interesting things I noticed,
1. The transfer looks like a document request. It is in Outgoing Correspondence with Item Requested as 1. And again in incoming correspondence almost simultaneously.
2. The group name assigned is batchtesting. Its kind of weird to name the group as testing. Hope this testing doesn't cause a lot of delay .

Bottom line: Looks like they are transferring from CIO to CPC-O differently causing this new status update for us.

Hi Yelena, no my spouse did not sign a consent form. That must be the problem. And I have also submitted another gcms request last week without the consent form. Would you know if there is a way to add it to the application?

Hi...can someone help me with clearing one part of my GCM Notes? I have received them yesterday and they have 109 pages... all looks ok, medical passed, eligibility passed, security passed,opinion from the officer looks great. There is only one small section that I dont understand.

this is shortly the part that makes me confused...the last text note from Officer is that he is really satisfied with everything and again, everything is passed so this CANCELED word is freaking me out....My last app was canceled in September cause it was incomplete so I am wondering is this Kit related with my last app? What do you guys think...And this was made on Nov 26 2015, they have requested add document on Jan 16, I have uploaded doc on Jan 19, my BCKG went In Process again (In Process Oct 20, Not needed Nov 24, IN PROCESS Jan 21.). I dont think my app was or is canceled cause they have requested add doc in the mean time and my app was updated constantly....so experts let me hear you opinion....tnx!!!!!!

I am satisfied that the applicant meets the requirement of A11.2/R87.1 A11.2 Meet Selection PASSED******ADMISSIBILITY*****
REVIEW TYPE CEC Having analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and information contained in the file following reccomendation _______________________ I have verified this app under...................... Req APPEARS TO MET....................

RECOMMENDATION APPEARS TO MEET

This is the final word from the officer about my app....

To me this looks like something that they realized does not apply to you thus cancelled.
Can't say until I see the whole thing though.

They are very long,109 pages. Everything is ok all the way, this is only one word that is very confusing. As I said my app was updated after and they req add doc so I dont think it has anything with complete cancelation. And this is since Nov 24 so I think they would reject it by now?? :-/
