So from Sept AOR, till Nov 30 or Dec 1st, when the GCMS was generated for the other person, only R10 was completed? I'm wondering if 3 months after AOR will be a good time to apply for GCMS and get it by 4 months after AOR.Reginald said:Thanks. I ordered gcms Nov 30. Its yet to arrive. I feel I ordered too early and it won't contain much. What's your take?
Sounds good, if you can summon the patience. Looks like they don't do much in the first 2 months. Now, this may vary by category. E.g, cec applicants used to get DM in 2-3 months so made sense to order early in their case. Am not sure about PNP.number411 said:So from Sept AOR, till Nov 30 or Dec 1st, when the GCMS was generated for the other person, only R10 was completed? This is an eye opener. Thanks for sharing.gorkhethito said:Aor 31 aug...ordered gcms notes on dec 2 and got today..this is my 2nd time..1st note i received was till sept 30 which is 1 mth from AOR...It was normal like r10 ok..eca..celpip verified and pcc, offer letter received .
Suprisingly,my 2nd note which has data from 3 months of AOR has nothing new than of 1st notes. still security, criminality and eigibility not started. The only date changed is the due date.its now Jan 2 which was nov 2 on 1st note..Agent review has same as 1st note..not a single new word is added.for 2 months they just changed the due date...god knows how they work and how do they update things..i am not ordering gcms notes anymore..
Yes, I think I can be patient for first 3 months. R10 is only a check for completeness of the application, isn't it? If someone gets a document request, such as I got Sch 4/4A request, that would mean a Case officer has already looked into the app and done completeness. I think there is no point applying for GCMS and know that they've done only R10 while we can already assume this by other updates.Reginald said:Sounds good, if you can summon the patience. So according to this case, after 3 months of AOR, there is R10 done, ECA and IELTS/CELPIP verified and due date moved to the beginning of 4th month. I would say this is decent progress. @gorkhethito -- Why do you say that you won't order anymore GCMS notes? I think all of us have to tone down our expectations and wait. I'm happy with the progress in your file in 4 months, a lot of work has already happened and you are on the way to PPR. Congratulations!Reginald said:This is an eye opener. Thanks for sharing.
In my opinion, eligibility assessment on all the categories is a crucial and important step. We shouldn't underestimate the importance of this task ("nothing but"?). Good to know that they do this in the first few days of AOR, so if some ineligible application is submitted, it gets cancelled, rejected early and not made to wait for later.gorkhethito said:i ordered after 1 month of AOR and got on 2nd nov..not much except r10 ok and the documents are ok..due date was nov 2...as of today bg has nt yet been started....when it comes to gcms note..all the pages from top are nothing but eligibility assessment on all the categories and dates..notes found at the bottom are only good for us to know what vo is doing....in short for me..from aug 30 till sept 30...nthing was sone except r10 check and it was assigned to someone with due date nov2...
How long have you waited? 13 days? Just wait...number411 said:In my opinion, eligibility assessment on all the categories is a crucial and important step. Although you say that "nothing is done", it appears good work was done by CIC to review documents and check eligibility. This is sufficient progress for 1 month from AOR, isn't it? Of course, we all want officers to work only on our file alone, but there are also so many other applications. It appears they have a nice operational process established.
You'll get it in soft-copy at the email address you mentioned while requesting for it. You've ordered it at the right time in your file process. You'll get it in a few days or maximum in a week from now.grajdev382 said:Do we get hard copy or soft copy or both for gcms notes? I ordered on 5th dec and still waiting

You need to attach consent form if you doing it from outside Canadarkurtur said:I did apply on Dec 3rd and I am still waiting. I didn't attach any document/letter while ordering GCMS. Do we need attach AOR letter for GCMS request?
I am in Canada so I do not need to attach consent form.Dreams1985 said:You need to attach consent form if you doing it from outside Canada
