Thanks Rajjj, Yes as we know, giving them more information then required is always good rather than giving less information which they can challange easily for refusal. Cheers!

Sorry to say this but if you cant help this guy stop asking when he applied and when he got rejected in order to assess the duration of your own application. Just have some courtesy! I've noticed this over and over again and it's about time someone said something about this
jsm0085 said:How is it relevant? Because other people want to look at the timeline of the poster and compare it to their own situation... Whatever their reason, they are doing nothing wrong by asking. I ask the same kind of questions because it helps me get a better understanding of the full process... This is a forum, it's designed to allow people to ask such questions - their is no rule against it. I'd suggest you have some courtesy, just because YOU don't think it's a worth while question, doesn't mean others share your opinion.
"I listed them all.. I went to Germany for business and I gave out that address all.. It can never hurt you when you specify all this info right?"
If you want to talk about relevance, you have already demonstrated your stupidity by posting the above. Providing random visits abroad for business or pleasure is not only pointless but it could actually cause problems in your background check - as technically you have never resided in the mentioned addresses, only visited.
People like you delay the process for others because instead of doing and providing what has been asked for, you decide to put your own spin on it - which subsequently uses more of the VO's time.
I'd suggest that in the future, unless you have something helpful to say, you say nothing at all.

lucky_CA said:According to CIC checklist, reference letter MUST be written in a company letterhead ( the first requirement of work experience letter in CIC checklist). It is only the company's official stamp, which is not mandatory.
Your representative did a great mistake.
jes_ON said:There were a number of errors, including the above. The NOC code may not have been correct (was it a food store or a restaurant? They're different), the description of job duties not adequate, but possibly worst of all, the letter did not even cover 1 full year. (The OP never indicated whether there was more than one job/letter of reference, or even for which stream the application was submitted).
For some people, there is value in going through a consultant or lawyer, but it doesn't change the fact that you need to know the program requirements and ensure your application meets them...

otonglo said:this is interesting, i applied under the same NOC code and got refused on the grounds that the officer was not satisfied that i performed a substantial number of the main duties, mind you my reference was missing three out of nine main duties. The officer also said that from my reference letter there was no evidence that a business actually existed. I think the main reason my application was denied was because my reference letter didn't have alot of info about the business and not so much on the duties. I just read your post up there and i think If you going to reapply my friend i suggest that you have all the duties from your NOC code listed and worded a little differently. You might want to have a proper letter with a letter head, a business card, a stamp or seal if applicable and T4's that match your notice of assessment. The last thing you want is to be in the same scenario 9 to 10 months later.
Good luck mate 8)
