UK PCC from INDIA 2018

Dear Members,

I have also question regarding Endorser.
I stayed in UK between 2005-2011 and have moved back to India since then. Unfortunately I don't have any good contact in UK at present whom I can use as endorser.

Can I use Indian professional living in India (knowing me for 2+ years) as an endorser?

Please suggest.

Mate ! U can use Indian endorser . A lawyer friend or uncle will work .

U will hv list find out someone from India legit person it'll work .

I applied for UK pcc couple of days back through normal process(45 Pounds). I Have few doubts about the documents i submitted to ACRO.

- Photograph: I scanned my regular passport size photograph and attached.
- Current Address proof: I took a bank statement from Bank which contains my name and current address. and attached.
- Passport copies: I submitted my latest passport copies. (I renewed my passport last year and i didnt submit the old passport copies).

I attached above documents in ACRO. Will these documents are valid and sufficient ??? Please help me.

And how many days it will take to get PCC in hand.

All submitted docs looks good. It'll take 25 days maximum not less then that ..

U can call them n get update once they dispatch !!

Hello Everyone, UK PCC received. Here is a timeline.
Nov 7th -- Applied for PCC (through STANDARD delivery option) online from india. (Received confirmation email)
Nov 12th -- Dispatched ( but didnt receive any email, when i called on nov 15th, they said it is dispatched on 12th)
Nov 22 -- Received my PCC to Hyderabad address.


NOTE : If anyone applied for standard delivery by mistake or some other reasons and if you need it very urgently, call them and request for additional copy with International Courier option which costs £54. You will receive in 2-3 working days.

My PCC was dispatched on 30th Nov. Still not received it. I am in Pune. Should I call them and ask for another copy by paying £54 or should i wait?

I stayed in UK for 2 years:
One year at Cardiff, Wales
Second year in London, England
CIC has asked me to submit separate PCCs for wales and England..
So do I need to submit same PCC in both places. Please confirm

Ask for the tracking number. You can track your docs at Royal Mail and then at India post as well
It will take around a week to get the courier

My wife chose the same option. We got a tracking number which stopped updating somewhere in "Edinburg" and then we just decided to wait as we had plenty of time before the application deadline. 8 days after the tracking stopped working it was delivered to our home in Coimbatore.

Thanks for sharing the real life experience. I have received tracking details. My other friend chose the same option and he received soon enough at Calcutta.

I received my UK PCC today on 9th March. The tracking was real-time and accurate. The PCC was shipped from the UK on 2nd April and reached Indian shores on 5th April. It was with Indian Post since then and was delivered to me through EMS speed post.

I have only bank statement to show my current adrs proof...how many months bank statement is required ?

Endorser has to sign on some letter which I provide or an application??
