I've finally gotten round to applying for citizenship and i'm just stuck on two parts.

1 - When it asks about my current citizenship status would I just put my date of birth as the date it was obtained?

2 - When I moved to Canada back in 2020 I stayed in a hostel before moving into my first apartment, would I list that even if it was just for 2 weeks or just my home address back in the UK?

You haven't given enough information for anyone to make sense of your question.

Were you born a citizen or naturalizing? Where were you born? What's your claim to citizenship?

I'm a UK born citizen. The second question is the section about where you've lived for the past 5 years

Okay. Still not clear to me - were you born to a Canadian citizen? Or you are attempting to naturalize?

If the former, it sounds to me like you may be looking at/using the wrong forms - you should not be applying for a grant of citizenship, but a proof of citizenship. (Just the terminology / approach they use)

If naturalizing: grant of citizenship forms.

Either way, forms may ask about your other citizenships, and yes, if it asks for a start date, dob. (If end-date, n/a)

Address: I personally don't think the address for two weeks matters that much either way, use your judgment.

Yes you became a UK citizen on your birthdate. Personally I wouldnt bother with the 2 weeks at the hostel.
