I mailed application today and just found out that I missed UCI no in my citizenship application. Which is the same 8 digit id number on PR card. I left space blank. Would that effect my application. Really worried.

Are you talking about skipping the UCI# on the following form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/citizen/CIT0002E-2.pdf

Note that section is for CIC official use only and nothing is supposed to be filled in by you in that section under UCI no. & Certificate no.

Thanks coolguy. I just read it somewhere that if you already have that number you must mention it in the citizenship application. But again thanks a lot for clarifying it. +1 for you.

They will send you the UCI with your AoR
Yes but typically this number is on the PR card so anyone applying for citizenship should already have this, no?

Should point out that I'm not questioning whether it should be filled in the application, but rather that they will send it with AoR?

Once they deem your application complete, they will email and/or mail you the AOR which will have the UCI no for you to be able to check the status of your application.
