Hello everyone,
I am a PGWP holder and I recently applied for my TRV as my previous one had expired (it's an S-1 Student visa - as I was a study permit holder before), My application was approved and I was asked to send my passport to Ottawa for stamping the counterfoil on it. When I got the passport back, I noticed that the category on the Visa was V-1 Visitor and was valid until the expiry date of my passport. I think it should be a W-1 Worker and valid until my PGWP expires, just like all my other friends have. I don't actually know why I got a Visitor visa when I already have PGWP. I am pretty sure I filled out the correct application and I also submitted my PGWP along with other documents.
Will this visitor visa cause any trouble when I exit and re-enter Canada?
Has anyone ever experienced such an issue?
Whom should I contact and What happens next?
