TRV applicant

Helloww, My son applied for TRV on Tuesday, June 17 and got passport request on Thursday, June 19...... should I purchase his ticket now while we are waiting for the return of his passport? I assumed that it is approved. He applied from the Philippines; September is his authorized leave from work....

I just went through the same process. I am guessing you applied for the visa online, and then got an email asking for his passport (1-2 days later).

If they asked for his passport, go ahead and buy the ticket, they will stamp the passport and send it back (took about 7 days for me)
