Travel outside Canada

I need your opinion on whether I can travel outside Canada.
I applied for PR under CEC in September 2020 and I haven't heard from IRCC yet and my open work permit expires on May 8, 2022. Couple of weeks ago, I applied for Bridging Work Permit. So, my question is: Can I travel to India and come back on/before May 8, 2022 ? If I can travel and come back to Canada, does it impact my PR application?

Do you have a valid TRV (not work permit)? No impact on PR application.

If you are referring to the one in my passport, yes, I have a valid TRV and it is valid till May 8th 2022

If you have a valid visa and permit, you can re-enter Canada.

Traveling as no impact on your PA application.

I have a PGWP that's valid until April 2025.

I have applied for permanent residency after being nominated through Ontario non-EE stream.

I submitted an application for a closed work permit based on my Ontario nomination. According to current processing times, I should get the approval around mid-February.

I have a valid TRV.

Can I travel outside of Canada for a week and come back in January even if my closed work permit application is still in process? My PGWP will still be valid.

I was in a similar situation. I traveled to the U.S. and came back on TRV as a visitor. As I traveled outside Canada, I lost my maintained status and hence stopped working now. Still waiting for approval for my work permit application.
