Transfer to India

Hello folks,

I have applied PR under CEC in October 2014. I have 2+ work ex in Canada.

I have moved back to India in Feb 2015 and have updated my address on the ECAS website to my colleagues address in Toronto.

Does anyone know if I need to transfer my application to New Delhi?

Is there anything else I need to inform them?

Any help/information would be appreciated.

No need to transfer your file to New Delhi. All the CEC files get processed at Ottawa regardless of the country of residence.

I am not sure if its right to use your friend's toronto address, if you already move back to India.

I will suggest you to update the address to your current Indian address...

i also complted 2 years in Canada and moved to India in Jan 2015.
no need to ask them to transfer file to india... but i did update my address to indian address before leaving Canada. by sending them an email.
