If they receive it and it has your ID number on, they'll add it to your application. Seen as it is only a photocopy of something you have readily available, I'd send it along and hope that they get it and add it to your application.

Even if they don't for whatever reason, when they do ask for it, you can always just send another copy.

Maybe give the CIC phone number a call to be on the safe side.

Thank you, I will try them to call or just send it to them with the cover letter.

No worries! :)

Good luck.

Hello guys, you think september application will received AOR by end of the october? So that means till now they dont even touch the september application even they received it by hand. Hmmmmm, cant wait to get the AOR, i just dont know why CIO being slow at this time. Most of them are back from holiday...

It's hard to tell. From the looks of other threads it would appear that people are getting their AOR 6 - 8 weeks after applying so I'm expecting mid November as a realistic time frame. Hopefully sooner, but I'd imagine most people in the August thread will get theirs and then it's our turn! :)

Hi YL,

It's good that you wanna pay with your credit card. As I noticed on this forum, CIO is processing application received around July 10th/11th right now....mine was received on July 12th. So, it might take a while for them to charge your credit card...

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi

Can you tell me link to check the processing time for PNP application.
Thanks

Sure can, if you look on the CIC website there is a rundown of each visa office and the estimated time for residency processing.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp

As it states on that page, that estimate is for the federal application, the time is takes to get nominated is extra.

Hi Guys count me in ... my application was received at CIO (based on courier's tracking site DHL) last 17 Sept. Based on the other forum/FB as well the lead time for CIO-AOR nowadays takes 6-8 weeks to receive. so let's keep the faith its October anyway so we'll get there soon :)

Not long now folks! It seems like the August applicants are getting their AOR's through now! :)

want to join your group...

I submitted my docs to CIO last aug 31 and they received it sept 5, still waiting for AOR.
its almost 3 weeks now, and probably 1 month more for the AOR since CIO still issuing AOR for sept applicant :(

Hey,

I have submitted my application same date as you sent. Mine is received on 3rd of Sep. I did not hear anything from cic yet. No AOR and no credit card charged. Please inform if you get something.
Thanks

Week 1-2 of Aug applicants are being pre-AORed (meaning cc being charged).

Still the current norm seems like 8 weeks to get AOR.

Hello Bradders,

I had sent my other documents along with the cover letter. I mentioned my Client ID number outside the envelop so that they can just add those docukments in my application. You think that Client ID is enough to able them to track it for my application??/ is it going to be a problem?

I also didnt included my PPC as I am still waiting for it. are they going to ask me those documents to send along or they will issue me AOR first before requesting needed documents. Guys need your help assisting me on this or any suggestions.

Thank you

They won't issue your AOR until they deem your application complete, which would mean they'd need your police checks before AOR. So I'd just send them along as soon as you get them.

If you quoted your ID number on your extra documents then I'd pretty sure they'll work out which file they should go with! :)

Hey bradders,

so that means they won't issue my AOR until they have my PCC's. I am just little bit confused as in document checklist it says..

Police Certificate clearances
"You are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, we strongly recommend that you take steps to obtain your police certificates NOW to avoid future delays. You must be ready to submit them when requested by an officer.

So what this means, that they wont issue me AOR but they will send meaan email to request the PCC's and i dot have to send them with my cleint ID as i wont have my file number... please kinldy clarify me on this.

thank you guys

If I were you, I'd give CIC a call and ask. I'm just basing it on what I thought the document checklist said! They will be able to give you a definitive answer!

Mumay
you will get AOR and file ID even without PCC
