Hello to all,
My very first posting on the forum.
I mailed my application to CIO on Aug. 29 and delivered on 31st.
I’ve been in Canada for 7 years as a TFW.

Applied for AINP Family stream
Got nomination in June 2012
Applied submitted to CIO, Sydney,Nova Scotia
Courier delivered to CIO on August 31,2012
AOR: Not Received

I posted my application on Monday and my package tracking says that it arrived this morning, so the real waiting begins now! :)

Everyone should add a profile to this site too: http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/provincial-nominees

It seems to be a good resource for getting an idea of everyone else's timelines.

Hi rdecartus,

You should have submitted your application without your PCCs so that your application would have been at least 3 months ahead now. Any way, it's done now.

Good luck,
Sarayu.

You are right, I too feel that I could have sent the package to save a few months. I was hoping that my pcc would arrive anytime soon and I wanted to send completed application after reading that CIO is sending incomplete applications back to the applicants. On the other hand, I added a few additional documents (school leaving certificate, self affidavit etc.) at the last moment because my original birth cert is not available. Hope all goes well after all this effort.

Hi rdecartus,

Submitting application to CIO without PCCs is not at all an incomplete application. Any way, you added your school leaving certificate and self affidavit....this is really good part that you did...coz, my application was returned just because I did not have my birth certificate from municipal office...I had submitted a copy of birth certificate which I got from consulate...which CIO hasn't accepted.

One thing, is your school leaving certificate shows you's and your both parents/one parent's complete name (first name, middle name if applicable and last name)??? This is very important.

All the best buddy...

Yes, it shows my father's name. But it starts with "Shri".. Not sure if CIO knows it means "Mr." in Indian context..

Anyone who have submit his Application to the CIO on August have Received AOR and medical exam ?

Looking at other people's timelines, I think it'll be at least a month before we get AOR for any September applications! I'd love to be proved wrong though! :)

YL, any news on your application? Did they process your payment yet?
