I asked the clinic they assured me that it was sent out after a week.

I see, then I would take following step:
- wait ecas update for a few more weeks.
- give an inquiry to RMO (almost no chance for a reply?), or call CIC.
- request GCMS notes in the end of Feb.

Meanwhile, I would collect any evidence that I took medical exam in a timely manner.
ex. receipts from the clinic and/or hospital, a written proof of sending to RMO (ask your clinic if they can give you), etc.

I checked my ECAS and shows "In process" Since January 28 2013 this is really a good sign... finally heard something good after waiting... can't wait for my PPR sooon.....

Me too. It changed to "In Process" since 14 jan 2013. how long do you think it would take to process and get PPR?

Hi Guys,

I sent my application on Sep. 18 2012, and they start processing it on January 13. I have a friend who sent application in June 2012, but they haven't started processing his application. I'm not sure how do they pick up application for processing.

Does anyone know how long they will take to make a decision after they start processing?

hopefully so soon, atleast before summer we can get our PPR....

I've got a reply from Sydney saying that my file is still in their office and medicals were not received yet.
My question is: when the file will be forwarded to the visa office (CPP-Ottawa)? Are they waiting for medical results?

I was a silent follower of this forum..Today I would like to share a good news from my side.
I just recieved email requesting to submit passports to issue visa. Initially I applied to Novascotia but it got transfered to CPP-O

The following is my timeline:

Applied AINP in August 2010 (based on my H1b visa)(I currently reside in United States)
Recieved nomination in June 2012
Applied to CIC Nova scotia in September 2012
Recieved Medical request and submitted them in November 2012
Today February 6th 2013 I recieved email asking for passports.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for their valuable information. It is a great forum.

I just recieved email requesting to submit passports to issue visa. Initially I applied to Novascotia but it got transfered to CPP-O

The following is my timeline:

Applied AINP in August 2010 (based on my H1b visa)(I currently reside in United States)

Recieved Medical request and submitted them in November 2012

I guess bcuz u have H1B visa, u have got exempted from hell lot of things.

I am on H1B as well and I am also an AINP nominee with similar timeline. My application status just shows "in process". I think he is just an exception. But that does raise my hopes a bit.

I am not expecting too much but hopefully it will come before the WP expires.

It sounds like PPR's are coming in thick and fast now! Hopefully this means we won't have to wait too much longer for ours!

Most of the July applicants our getting PPR that is so pretty fast.. Hopefully ours will be end of March or 1st week of april atleast before may would be great!
