My timeline is as follows:

Federal Application Received: March 8 2012
AOR From Ottawa + Request for Medicals: May 19 2012
Medicals Done: May 31 2012
Medical Report Received (E-cas): August 2012
PPR Request: Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...

The E-cas States keeps "Application was received." It doesn't have any updates until today:
We received your application for Permanent Residence on March 8th.
Medical Results have been received.

My open work permit expired on Feb. 22 this year, as I don't want to kill time and waste money in Canada any more, I came back to my country. Some of my friends are 2012 March applicants, most of them finished medical examination last May. Their work permit will expire or already expired. One friend told me that she called CIC in order to consult the new Bridging Work Permit, unfortunately, she was told Quebec Skilled Worker Program is not under this category, it means that QSW applicants are not permitted to apply for it. Until today, we don't have any updated news from CPP Ottawa. Last month, what a ridiculous message from my classmate in Montreal is one guy (another classmate) who got CSQ from Immigration-Quebec last July, he already received his landing paper this February.

The whole disorderliness of process happens in Ottawa CPP in 2013... Their process procedure looks quite arbitrary!!

I think normally they will approve your case before the medical expired. But dont know. Hopefully you can PPR before MAY.

Thanks a lot Arale, by the way, we came from the same country. I am not willing to kill time in Montreal any more, so I came back to China before 2013 Spring Festival.

If your medical will be expired or is already expired your should call ur province or CIC immediately. If still in 12 months is normally.
For your condition, I suggest u email your province or contact CIC

HI DrmBig

did you get medicals? I have been waiting for medical from last 12 months but no news!!!

Hi,

I am a march applicant as well.
my timeline--
Application received ottawa March 22, 2012
Medical 25 May 2012

After that i have not heard anything from them, after numerous emails no reply.
Did any of you guys applied for GCMS notes.
I recently got my GCMS notes and the last update on my file was in june when they received my medical. my file shows only criminality in progress, medical is passed, security not started yet, eligibility not started, i dont even think any officer has been assigned to the file either.

Seniors please advise how long criminality checks take ??

thanks

Hi,

I applied also for inland PR in Quebec province.
Here's my timeline:

Application received: March 19, 2012
Medical results sent: June 5, 2012

I asked for GCMS notes twice:
-October 20, 2012
-January 24, 2013

Both showed:
Medical: Passed
Criminality: In progress
Eligibility: Not Passed
Security: Not Passed

So, nothing has moved since May 17 2012.

What's important, I think, is the due date. It's some kind of reminder for them.

I guess we all have to wait now...

Hello Seragu05,

In your GCMS notes, was there an officer assigned, i just received mine yesterday everything is same like yours it has due dated for the all the fields but no BFD, and no officer assigned. Please advise.

thanks
YK

Hello yk,

There doesn't seem to be an officer assigned to my case.
Is there a particular field in my GCMS notes that says it?

Hello folks,

Here are some good news!

A QSW Ottawa applicant from another thread got his passport request email last saturday!
He applied on March 30 2012.

I wish I could post the link but it seems that I'm not allowed to.
So here it is:
(add the canadavisa url before) : canada-immigration-discussion-board/pr-application-for-quebec-skilled-worker-through-peq-timeline-share-t121763.0.html;msg2146250#msg2146250

It brings back some hope!

I got a replied email from Ottawa this Monday. To my surprise, they replied to me just after 2 days. I told them my medical results will expire this May, how can I deal with this problem because I already left Canada. Finally, their email, nothing to say, sigh~~~

Dear Sir/Madam,

The medical results must still be valid in order for the application to be approved. While our office will be requesting an extension of the validity of results to minimize the number of applicants who will be required to undertake new medical examinations, it will be necessary for some applicants to re-do medical examinations.
