Hi ksoalka,

Almost the same situation has been happened for the other guy 2 days ago...his forum name is "funloving". He said, he has submitted what ever they are asking again now. And more over exactly, he was also give ONLY 2 days to submit those docs....which is really difficult to do. How can they expect PCC within 2 days?

Just an idea from me...you said you had already submitted your PCC and updated personal history on 24th June....so, do you have a scanned copy of it by chance? If yes, I would suggest you to send those scanned copies via email and tell them that you had sent the originals to you on so and so date along with courier tracking number.

Worst case, if you don't have the scanned copies, just tell them it takes about 35 days to get the PCC from Russia. Finally what I say is communicate with them within the time given to you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu!

Thank you for your reply and suggestion!!

I see that not only me who is having fun here as well.. lol
Yes my question was same if they know that I am in Russia now how I can send them ppc just within 2 days...tricky question
Anyway, I resent them my updated history via email and applied for new PCC because the previous one has been expired already. I humbly asked them to extend the date for receiving my PCC...no respond from them so far...Tomorrow is a deadline of receiving requested documents, so I hope they will get back to me shortly...

Best of luck,
Ksoalka

Hi,

First of all, congratulations for those who has already got PR waiting with patience.

I just want to add my time line for people waiting for PPR like me.

I got AINP(international graduate) in Aug13, 2012. Applicant in Canada.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on November 7, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on March 25, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

I did not get any update from CIC so far. I am little bit frustrated because my wife wanted to go to school after getting PR in Sep.

I really hope we all get good news soon.

Thanks.

Hi kyuseok2yo,

I have added you to November 2012 track sheet. It's five and a half months since your application went In-Process which is really too long. Did you ask CPP-Ottawa for the status of your application? Or have you ordered for your GCMS notes? If yes, what's the update?

Good luck my friend.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today I noticed that my status was changed to "starting your process on September 8th" which came a BIG surprise to me.

As you may remember, I requested my GCMS notes a couple of month ago and it was mentioned that my file went to under process on April 18th.

On September 8th, I was requested to send my original pcc (not photocopy) which was asked me before on mid march. That time I sent the certified translation, but they need non-translated version as well.

Apparently, they are working on files. I have already requested another GCMS notes and I will receive by the end of this month. If there is any word, I will let you guys know.

Sarayu.

I think this process means checking my eligibility now!!!

Thank you.

Hi stanleyl,

Just check your GCMS again. Because in my GCMS notes, in the very first page it says..."Application Status Reason: In Progress". This DOES NOT MEAN our "In Process". So, CPP-Ottawa has started working on your file on Sep 08, 2013 which is as per your ECAS.

We both are just in 3 days difference now...let's see how it goes from now. Good luck my friend.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello My Fellow Applicants,

Finally, I have received the passport request today, Friday 13th Sep, 8.23 P.m Vancouver time. It has been a roller coaster ride for me. However, you know the saying if end is well, all is well. I am grateful to god.

Sarayu, kindly update the track sheet.
Good luck to all of you.

Hi dadaum,

As I remember from others, you need to carry just your passport with PR visa stamped and your COPR document. But I suggest you to take all your other documents just in case if they ask you for any thing.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
