Hi Frangle first of all i would like to say thanks to share some valuable information with forum members. Can you please point to to the link where you found this information to get more detail.I would be thankful to you

Hi Garry2008, sorry for late reply.
Actually I haven't heard it on news. I applied for a visitor visa for my parents two month ago from the Canada embassy in Turkey (which I knew they were on strike, therefore I didn't expect any soon progress on their file), but after 2 month from the application, I got an email from the embassy that their visas were ready to pick up. I checked their website and figured out that it wasn't the previous website, but a new group of temporarily employed officers were working of on going cases. So i think although it is not very fast, but the progress is happening and there's no need to be worried of not-going-anyway progress of strike!

Good luck buddy ;)

Hi Garry,

I emailed to CPP today to enquire what is going on there because my medical is expiring in first week of November. Let us see what they respond.
Anyways where r u living in Regina cz I'm also living in Regina.

Hello All,

Hi to ALL

I have a question for Garry2008,Zoravar AND Aarjay,

After receiving COPR what is the best place to visit for confirming the PR in SASKATCHEWAN?
I leave in SwiftCurrent area.

Please guide me.

Hi dadaum

Garry2008 is right. I have the same answer.

Thanks

I landed yesterday at 18:00 at the Lacolle border service (Quebec/NY). It took me 45 min from Montreal to lacolle, and couple of minutes min for paper works. It was pretty straight forward.
Good luck everyone

Hi ALL.

I have a request to any one who knows whether after FLAGPOLE can I go to my home country ie INDIA?

Someone has told me that after FLAGPOLE until I receive my PR card I cannot go to INDIA.

Please guide me.

Heyyy Guys,

I have a beautiful update from my side. By God's grace my ECAS has been updated with "We started processing your application on September 5, 2013". Guys, believe me, we were waiting to see this additional line for such a long long time. Hope by God's grace everything goes good with my application. I really need all your best wishes my friends.

Thanks and you all have a wonderful Sunday.

-Sarayu.

Hi dadaum,

I am not very sure, but what I expect is...you can go to India but coming back to Canada without PR card is not possible (I think so...but not very sure). The reason is, your PR visa will get expired as soon as you finish your landing. So, you have to have a valid status to come back to Canada which is PR card.

Once again, it's my assumption...let's see if somebody can reply exact info.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
