Send them an e-mail asking about what happened to your GCMS request, as the 30 days deadline is over. You can reply to the same address you used to send your request. I had the same problem and then they replied that I forgot to include the $5 (I was supposed to ask for GCMS under the Privacy act but chose Access to Information Act by mistake). I sent them the payment but then the 30 days started all over again. :(

Cheers

What's the email address? I sent mine in via regular mail since I was so used to applying for GCMS that way and I didn't know I could do it online that time lol.

Oh, I see - send it to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca.

Cheers

i just recieved the RPRF request, thats 490$, is it on top of the 550$ fee we paid in the beginning ?
and do you guys know how long does it take from now to get PPR?

Hi persian123,

That's good news. Can you please share your time lines with us? Are you residing in Canada already? I really appreciate if you can let us know more about your case.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

my ecas has been updated today:

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

but I didn't get ppr request yet.

please update the tracksheet.

Hi steffi,

Congratulations on your further step. I am pretty sure you might be getting your PPR any time now. Good luck buddy...sorry for the late response...went out with family for the long weekend and just came back home... :) :) :)

Thanks,

Hi lois05:

Congratulations buddy...so, when are you planning for landing? Good luck for everything.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Sarayu:

you can track my timeline on ottawa track sheet bud, so do you have any idea according to others experience how much roughly gonna take to get the PPR?

My friends told me that many of their friends who were in backlog are getting their ppr now, may be this is the reason i think remaining applicants of October and November are delayed.

All of a sudden theres so much silence in our forum. I think this is temporary silence inching towards a blunder of PPR's to follow. The wait is killing everyone but keep hope guys soon everything is going to come alive again.

some are waiting for PPR, and some fore their medicals... different milestones, same outcome... Wait wait and wait...

Hi Everyone,

I am applying from Toronto, ON; my medical results were sent early march and i got my ECAS status updated “in process” mid may 2013. I recently got a letter “reminding” me to pay RPRF. I was a little unsure on why it reminds me.

1. Have I missed any communication/letter in between getting my medicals done and this letter? Please know that I am receiving communication by post mail.

2. Is there a standard step (as per the sequence of steps experienced by other candidates) between submitting your medicals and paying RPRF for candidates in Toronto?

3. I hear that we have to give finger prints, however, I have not received such a request as of now. When is that requested by CIC? Where do we have to give our finger prints?

Thank you,
Indiapnp

It seems as if LVO has no criteria or system, we received only Addl.docs request while applicants with AOR later then our's are receiving Addl.Docs request with MR. whereas we r still waiting and waiting for MR, totally frustrating .

news

I informed the VO Vienna that I will be on vacation in Germany, leaving next week and coming back on Canada Day.
And asked them where they send the letter, since my status changed to decision made on the weekend.

that answer I got today:

"Please be informed that your Confirmation of Permanent Residence was sent to your address in Canada by registered mail on May 23, 2013."

I guess I will land on July 1st then, when I come back :-) on Canada Day!

And it also shows, that you don't always have to send a copy of passport if you are from a visa exempt country, because I never got PPR.

cheers
