Hello everyone

you guys doing great job here specially sarayu.

I am sorry but i have question that's not related to this topic. I am asking cuz you guys doing really great job.

My Question.

I am living in Saskatchewan since 2011 under post graduate work permit. recently two month ago i got my PR under PNP. I have good job offer from another province.

should I able to move another province?

If any one have knowledge about this than reply me please. That's really helpful me.

Thanks

Hi napatel5,

I hope you can go and settle in any Province...but, one thing is we all agreed to stay, live and work in that particular Province once we get our PR. That's where we have given written letter saying that we are intended to work in so and so Province. I am not very sure how well these things are managed in their data base....but at certain point of time, it's possible that you get caught (for example when you apply for your Citizenship in future) and it might leads to any complications. I have seen the same kind of posts on this forum some times...but nobody suggested to do so.

And one more thing what I have heard is, even after we put our sincere efforts to get settled in the Province which had been Nominated us and did not succeed, then it may be OK for you to leave from that Province and settle in other one...having all the proof (email conversations of your job marketing etc).

At the end of the day, it's totally your decision/choice to choose. As a friend, my suggestion is don't invite the problems....you just got your PR and try to be happy wherever you are.

I know that I did not provide you YES/NO....but this is what I can share with you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

congrates sada min and sep28. Seems like they are working on our files.

Napatel5,

good morning. I agree with Sarayu. His second sentence is acknowledged true.
His suggestions are correct.

I would advise you stay until you get your citizenship .. At the moment CIC is getting tough on immigration and citizenship fraud and btw 5000- 10,000 PR's and citizens are being audited at the moment and some are even stripped of their citizenship ...
Link here .. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-09-10.asp

The only other time you will have to deal with CIC is when you apply for your citizenship and it wont augur well for you to be denied citizenship for misrepresentation of facts (U planned to settle permanently in the province that nominated you)

Pls tough it out and get ur citizenship first

question:

because I was so unpatient I paid my rprf upfront online and have sent the info to cio. since i don't know where exactly my file is.

now cio answered me three weeks later that my file is in Vienna. I can hardly believe it, since my medicals and process status came right fast.

for confirmation I also called the cic help centre. they also say the file is in Vienna.

but what happens now with my rprf fee paid upfront? I totally forgot to ask the agent on the phone.

still can't believe my file is actually in Vienna since I am in Canada.

any comments on this?

Did you put Vienna as your VO in the form?
I also paid the RPRF fee and sent it to CIO. After a few weeks, I emailed CIO and asked if they received it. They told me that my file was recently transferred to CPP-O and I should check with CPP-O, not CIO. CPP-O hasn't replied me yet.
In any case, I do not think we should worry about the RPRF fee since we have an electronic copy of the receipt. You can always email it to Vienna VO.
Hopefully you'll get your PPR soon. Good luck :)

Really!!! Cant believe that. So same thing could happen to me as well. I also choose new delhi as my vo. But at that stage i dont want my file to be tranferred to new delhi.
