Just checked my ecas and it has heen updated to "In Progress. We started processing your application on March 26, 2013." Things are moving along

Congrats! My timeline is similar to yours, but no updates yet I hope my RCMP record reached them and then they would update my ecas!

I sent an email to cjis and got the response... I need to fill out the form from FBI websit, get fingerprint card and have my fingerprints taken at local police station... And then send it back to USA.

In the meantime I am thinking to send rest of the docs to LVO ... There is no point in waiting 6-8 weeks for this when LVO has asked to respond in 60 days.

So hope you are little bit relief now. Yes, I also think that it's better to send Pakistan PCC along with a cover letter to LVO now. Try to explain the situation in the cover letter. Also, please include a copy of email that you got from cjis (by the way what is cjis???). Also, first of all fill the FBI form and send a scanned copy of filled FBI form to LVO (it's a proof to LVO that you have applied for your USA PCC).
