Did you get the MR for your wife or did she get it by e-mail? Did the attachment say something for the doctor?

I would ask CIO where to send it. Did you try to call them?
Maybe it is logic to send it to the same place your medicals where send. That should be Ottawa.

But I would try to contact CIC in that matter.

I got MR for my wife and there is no attachment for doc. It is just standard IMM 1017 same as mine. I did call CIC but they told to contact CIO. Emailed CIO and waiting for there reply ow usually it takes 20 days. I was hoping some one over here will have ans to my question.

When i submitted my Application they did not mention anything about the right of permanent residency fee. Do you know when I should pay for this fee and how to pay?

thank you,

It seems as if LVO is sleeping as non of the applicant from LVO has received MR. While the rest of NOV group is rocking.

From what I've observed in various forums, LVO response time varies for different streams. I know of a “FSW Backlog Reduction Pilot” nominee (same stream as mine) whose application reached CIO at end of October and LVO already sent MR last week. In response to a CSE, they responded that they are trying to complete case processing within 6 months time frame (as mentioned on their website). I hope things will speed up for other streams too.

Thanks,
Fahad

My passport just got renewed recently and the passport no. has changed slightly (incremented by 1). Does anyone know if I need to update CIO/VO regarding this change? Do I need to get a new nomination certificate/PCCs which quote the new number or the old one will work? Thanks.

Hi MuhammadFahad,

Yes, you need to inform CIO about your new passport. As I see your profile, you got your AOR on Jan 10. So just write a cover letter and tell them that you have renewed your passport recently. Please mention your first name, middle name (if available), last name, date of birth, UCI Number, Application number and your new passport number etc...(as many details as possible), so that they can pull your file out easily. And also send them a copy of your new passport (just biographical pages should be fine).

You don't need to get either a new nomination or PCC.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi messironaldo,

They will not ask for the RPRF at this point of time. They will ask to pay that once they are done with your application completely and if your application got passed everything. However, some people (like me) pay this RPRF fees upfront which is nothing wrong. The only thing is if we pay this upfront, we can save some time at later stages.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

One question....Is this RPRF is that fees that we paid along with our application.550$..as my visa office is new delhi...will they ask me for RPRF fees at the time of MR...

Thanks

Hi Davinder,

This RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fees = 490 CAD$ per person....but not for the children) is different from 550 CAD$. The 550 was for our application processing fees. As I said in my earlier post, once they make decision on your application, they will ask you to pay this RPRF...this is also called as landing fees.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanks Sarayu. Do I snail mail them or email FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca (or some other email address)? Thanks.
