just for info to all: when you go into ecas you have to click on the "application received" link. only then you see if they put new notes into your ecas. maybe a lot of november applicants here have "medicals received" already, but didn't recognize it yet.

Hey Guys,

Can anyone tell me that how long its taking these days to get the medical received status to be updated on ECAS.

My medical was received to CPP-Ottawa on 25th January. But they have not updated the status on ECAS.

I applied through Ontario PNP and my Visa Office is CPP-Ottawa as well.

what do you mean by 'new notes'? I haven't seen any such thing in my status. Could you explain or any sample?

once you've logged in with your data, you see your address

and under "Permanent Residence Application Status" you see ==Application Received==

You have to click on ==Application Received== to see if they made a note that your medicals are received.

in my case it says now:


We received your application for permanent residence on November 29, 2012.
Medical results have been received.


That's what i wanted to say

I am in the same boat as you, mine reached CPP-O on 24th Jan. No update yet and Vo is CPP-O. I guess we just have to wait and I have also heard that for a lot of ppl the ecas shows no update/change until they actually receive the RPRF fee request.

I haven't updated yet. But once I changed my mobile number, i will update. There is a link in your current application status "Update this mailing address" beneath your current address. You can click the link and update.
