hi sarayu.

my birth certificate is missing my name. so i got my parents to get an affidavit that i am there only son born on that date with birth certificate registration number on it. so i have that notarized and translation of birth certificate notarized. what else should i do to avoid the rejection.

thanks

Hi mannybalboa,

As far as your birth certificate, I think it should work....because you got your parents affidavit. Other than this, you may also send a self declaration form where you have to declare your birth.

Apart from this, please follow the check list very strictly.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Candidates nominated by opportunities Ontario receive red stickers in the nomination package. It's those red sticker, not sure if that is in seen in for provincial nominee packages provided by respective provinces.

Hi Indiapnp,

I am sorry to say, but CIO will not consider consulate issued birth certificates. My application was returned to me just because of this reason.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello Everyone,

I will also be applying very soon under the same category under FSW pilot with the nomination letter, my query is will we be transferred to our regional office once a file number is issued or the process will continue with the same office? I have visited other thread on the same forum and I found that CIO NS is also doing the complete process till end.

I do not know why, but it feels like CIO NS is doing the process much faster as compare to other regional offices.

Any thought on this?
Regards.

My representative has also sent my application CIO on 20th Nov, I believe it will reach by 24 NOv

Hi ahmed321,

Welcome to this thread. Usually, the Nomination certificate shows you the visa office as well. Yes, you are right CIO, NS itself processing some categories as we see some posts here in this forum. For me, it's written as CPP Ottawa on my nomination.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Indiapnp,

Please see below.

As I said, I was one of the applicant who's application was returned just because of not providing actual birth certificate. Initially I had provided consulate issued birth certificate which was issued based on my passport information, but unfortunately CIO did not accept it and requested for additional documents. CIO has given me 4 alternates which I listed below.

NOTE: Any one of the following document MUST show the full name of the applicant and full name of both parents (OR) just father or mother.

1. Copy of actual birth certificate from Municipal office.

2. Copy of school leaving certificate (10th or 12th class).

3. If actual birth certificate is not available, you should get "No Birth Record" certificate from the municipality. In this case you have to provide CIO a solemn document saying that you are the son/daughter of your parents (self declaration, but not a notarized document).

4. If you can't even get "No Birth Record" certificate from the municipality, your mother or father or both have to provide a notary document confirming that you are their son/daughter. In this case also you have to provide CIO a solemn document saying that you are the son/daughter of your parents (self declaration, but not a notarized document).

If your school leaving certificate doesn't show full name, please DO NOT send it to CIO. I am sure they will return your application to you again.

Hope this helps you. All the very best.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi IndiaPNP ....i recommend you to still send them the new Birth certificate or the alternatives as mentioned by Sarayu coz otherwise after waiting for two months you file is likely to return and its so much awfull..... One thing you should also do is E-mail CIO about your problem and also give the tracking no. of your old courier as well as of your new one which you will send again because otherwise they wont be able to match your documents. hope this helps !!

Hi Indiapnp,

That's a good point you need to think about as kavy.sandhu mentioned. Send your new birth certificates to CIO referring the old FedEx package number. They may find your package and add these documents to the old one. And also you can email them about this situation.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi, Add me. I submitted My application on 16th November 2012.

Yesterday we sent our file to CIC in MS (MPNP Strategic Initiative stream), and just now realized we forgot to sign one form. Anything we can do now but wait for the CIC to return it back?
Is it possible to send the signed form to them?
Or to communicate with them by email?

We are trying to see if we can still take it back from the courier, but most probably it is already on it's way to NS.

Oh god, what an awful feeling!

Any suggestions?
