hi winsky, which visa office did you choose for application processing,

hi guys,
i re-send my application to CIO last 8th of this month and they got hold of it on the 12th. it was received by STEPHENSON. my first application was sent last mid september but CIO send it back to me. Does anyone have any idea what would be the time frame before i get any response from CIO regarding my application.
by the way, i'm new to this whole forum thing, i would just like to catch up with the acronyms.
what is MR, PPR, AOR,VO.
sorry guys for asking, i feel so stupid, but i just want to know the meaning of those.

Hi!
MR - Medical Request
PPR - Passport Request
AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt
VO - Visa Office

hope this helps!
btw, why was it returned? if you dont mind my asking :)
What province nominated you and what's your country of residence?

thanks!

We are in the same boat buddy....... i also applied in mid september but my file was returned two days ago because of unable to process my transaction as i lost my credit card which i wrote in the form and the bank bank issued me a new card with new number so CIO were unable to process it as they had the old details of my lost card. Today i have sent my application again and i hope it will take another month and a half to get processed , may be post Christmas and new year.

hi indiapnp, you have to put one of those stickers on (Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]) and can put one on mailing envelop. according to pnp officials it helps to get priority to your file.
seems like very few applicants for November !!!
what is this red sticker thing bro

can anybudy tell me that because my file was returned and i am again submitting my file with new details that anything i can do to get my file a priority ?

hi, thank you so much for the info. my application was returned due to lack of information on behalf of my husband's additional family information.
how do we know if they would give some priority to my application cause we didn't have any red stickers on it. we only got one and we've used it on our first mail.
we got the AINP nomination. and we are from the philippines.

Hi,
Freshly new here... please add me to the thread.
Applied to MPNP through strategic initiative. recieved confirmation of nomination a couple of weeks ago. now completing the application for CIO, in order to send it next Monday! :D

I saw you all talked about red stickers..?
Mine is green. and there's only one. what does THAT mean?

Is it also the place to ask about some unclear issues with the application - mainly attached documents and the schedule 4 form, etc.? or else should I open new thread for that?

Thanks guys,
good luck to all!

Hi Friends,

Please let me join in November applicants group. You can see my time lines pretty much on my profile area. But, just to give you an over view of my file...initially my application was received by CIO on 24 May 2012. However my application was returned due to missing actual birth certificates. I had initially submitted consulate issued birth certificates but CIO asked me to provide supporting documentation. I did that and re-submitted to CIO on 12 July 2012.

I guess my time was too bad and my application was returned for the second time due to incorrect mode of payment. I sent a cashier's check in USD currency which was my mistake. I believe you guys know by now that the fees MUST be only in Canadian funds.

So, by the time CIO returned my application, my AINP nomination got expired....see guys, how BAD my time was running...but still, GOD is there...I sent a request for extending my AINP nomination and by God's grace I got it just on the 4th day after I made request.

So, now, re-submitted my application to CIO and they have received it today. The signed person's name is "M. KRSZWDA".

By the way, I am maintaining an excel sheet here, let me know if you guys are interested to add your time lines.

Ok friends, let's be in contact while we go further....share our experiences each other. Wish you all the very best.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Khan78, can you share your time line and stream etc please?

@Sarayu........you have gone through a lot of tough time....I also resubmitted my application today. One thing i wanna know.....Did you resubmitted the same forms or did you filled new forms because i talked to CIC today before resending my application and they said just redate and resign on the same forms and send them. So thats what i did, i hope its right.

Hi kavy.sandhu,

Yes, it was crucial time for me...but by God's grace I was able to re-submit my application to CIO.

Coming to your point, it's really good thing that you noticed. Like I said earlier, by the the time CIO returned my application second time, my AINP nomination got expired....which means I had filled all my forms almost more than 5 months before. I have a representative and they said I need to fill all the forms again and put the current date then sign it. That's how I did...including the photos. But, as CIO said directly to you, I don't think it will be a problem. Any ways, please be in contact and all the best to you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanx a lot brother.......one more thing, everytime you resubmitted did they took the same 2 months time or they gave you any priority like because your file was already assessed a few times ?

Hi kavy.sandhu,

You are most welcome...every time they took about 2 months time as they did not assign any file number to my file.
