@ MANJUCA CONDOLENCE! @ PAREYLES CONGRATS THAT WAS FAST! PPR SOON......to all... HERE iS R EXPERIENCE IN R MEDICALS...MY HUSBUND, OLDEST CHILD N MYSELF R OKEY all cleared. MY 2ND CHILD HAS TO REPEAT XRAY... LATERAL VIEW MY YOUNGESTchild WAS REFERRED TO A PULMONOLOGIST FOR LYMPH NODES APPEARING IN HER XRAY. D PULMONOLOGIST SAID TODAY ITS NOT TB BUT A RESULT OF HER COUGH BUT AS A STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE GIVEN BY CEM SHE MUST HAVE TO HAVE A SPUTUM TEST AT ST. LUKES CLINIC. D RESULT OF D SMEAR WILL BE AFTER A WEEK BUT THE SPUTUM CULTURE WILL BE AFTER 2MONTHS.... IF NEGATIVE SHE WILL BE CLEARED... IMAGINE 2 MONTHS DELAY. ACCDG TO D CLINIC THEY WILL FORWARD TO CEM THE MEDS RESULT THAT ARE CLEARED N I HAVE TO EMAIL CEM THAT FOLLOW UP PROCEDURES ARE TO BE DONE TO MY 2 KIDS . IM PRAYING ALL WILL BE WELL. AND TO THOSE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR MEDICALS DONT LOOSE hope. I KNOW D GOOD LORD WILL HAVE MERCY ON US.ADVISE TO THOSE WHO HAVE KIDS, SEE TO IT THAT THEY HAVE NO COUGH WHEN HAVING THEIR MEDICALS.....

Nope, I only emailed DMP asking if my medical results are OK, they said that the additional tests they've requested have negative results and informed me that they've forwarded them to Manila Embassy

You may ask the doctor's office for the tracking number, so that you will know when your reports reach Manila Embassy.

I need your help. Any inputs is highly appreciated.
Anyone know what kind of medical procedure will my kids (ages 3 & 5) need to undergo? We'll be having our medical exam this coming Thursday. I want to make sure that we are prepared especially the kids since it will be their first time to undergo such thing. Thanks in advance

I have a son of 2.5 years. It was just a regular health check up for him...but no Urinalysis, no blood test and no X-ray tests...Only height, weight, eyes, ear, nose etc general things. But don't know about the kids of 5 years old.

As appleguy said, the best way is to call doctor's office so that they will tell you exactly. Good luck for your medicals....please don't go to medicals if your kids have cough/cold....just wait for a couple days.

I had my medical done on 11th Jan, 2013.

I called my Doctor and he confirmed me that he sent the medical reports to CIC in Ottawa on 24th January, 2013. Bu my status on ECAS has not been updated yet.

Can anyone tell me that how long they take to update the status once they receive medical reports from Doctor.

Also please update my timeline in the excel sheet.

I have updated the track sheet. Did you get the tracking number from your doctor? If yes, please let me know when was your reports delivered at CIC. It takes some time to get updated on your ECAS, but honestly don't know exactly how much time it takes.

I got the tracking number and i verified the delivery. It was received on 25th January, 2013 at CIC Ottawa.

Its third week now, since they have received the reports but did not update the status.

I am in the same situation as you, my reports were delivered on the 24th and signed by some officer but still no change in ecas, it still shows 'application received'

I heard it takes 6-8 weeks. Mine was received on 24th December 2012 and ecas updated on 11th February 2013.

Did anyone send RPR fee? I have erecently updated my file by sending the docs of my spouse to CIO yesterday and my DMP sent my medical to cic on 2nd Feb. I have not included RPRF as of now..

What is the right thing to do? to wait or to send it?

Hi Calainp,

I have paid my RPRF to my representative end of Jan. They purchased a draft on behalf of me and sent it to CIO along with doctor's fee receipt.

We can pay RPRF upfront, nothing wrong if we do it without getting request from visa office. It might save us a little bit of time at the end.
