Thanks Kavy, Harman, Karn and Ravi. I will wait for a couple more days and give a call to my representative. Usually, they will intimate me immediately upon receiving any communication from VO.kavy.sandhu said:Hi sarayu.....they took atleast 20-25 days to reply me back on two occassions.
Hi Kavy, kavy.sandhu said:Hi Aman i had a chat with him....actually his case was complicated as he applied for his wife's open work permit in chandigarh but after a month or so he got his PPR so he contacted chandigarh visa office to withdraw his wife's passport but when asked why he wanted to withdraw the passport he told them the whole situation then the chandigarh visa officer contacted with ottawa and told him that the officer from ottawa would contact him regarding the case and then the visa officer from ottawa contacted him and told him that he will co-ordinate with the chandigarh visa office to facilitate the visa for his wife at the chandigarh visa office itself. This is how his contact with the visa officer happened by luck. Otherwise its almost impossible to contact a visa officer by your own choice.
Hi pliu18,pliu18 said:Hi all, i just discovered this forum. My Ontario PNP application was also submitted back in Nov 2012. No words on the outcome yet. My employer is paying for the whole process and the immigration adviser, can someone recommend a good immigration adviser for me to seek some independent advice? thanks.
sarayu said:Hi pliu18,
Looks like your employer has already appointed an immigration adviser, so why do you need again an immigration adviser? I am just curious to know. I have a representative for my process and if you want I can provide you their info. I am paying out of my pocket for my representative.
Can you please let me know your complete time lines so that I will add you to the track sheet. You can take a look at the track sheet from my signature just for reference.
Thanks,
Sarayu.
Hi pliu18,pliu18 said:Hi Sarayu,
I don't have the exact dates for my timeline because everything was through the immigration lawyer. Here's a rough timeline: application received on Nov 15th, medical requested on 16th Jan, medical completed around early-Feb, additional RCMP police clearance requested on april 2nd and completed in mid april. Since then, i haven't heard anything and my immigration lawyer is not the best in keeping me informed (my employer pays them not me).
my agreement with the immigration lawyer is that they will always act in the best interest of my employer, rather than me. but i wanted to know if changing employers will affect my federal PNP process? will i have to reapply again, maybe under the canadian experience class or a new PNP all over again? thanks.
Got it Sarayu, thanks. I couldn't PM you back, maybe because I am newbie and I can't PM people. Yes, I am already in Canada, been working here since Jan 2012.sarayu said:Hi pliu18,
I sent you PM just now, please check your email and let me know if you need more info. Are you already in Canada?
Thanks,
Sarayu.
Okay...and I also think you may not be able to send PM unless you have 10 posts from you. Good luck my friend.pliu18 said:Got it Sarayu, thanks. I couldn't PM you back, maybe because I am newbie and I can't PM people. Yes, I am already in Canada, been working here since Jan 2012.
