Hey kia & CSP:

I am sure the life after getting PR will be stress less....coz I am out of my country since 2003 and always had to go thru many work permits and visas etc...here we will not be having that headache...We can really concentrate on our career and personal lives...Good luck guys.

You are absolutely right Sarayu... No body knows how much the stress I went through during the initial days. It's not easy to explain everything and we only know about our pain. In those times, everything I had to think for temporary because not sure whether I am gonna be here for a long time or to go back.

Here after we can concentrate on our next move without those pains we had..

every time the movie dialogue occurred in my mind.. 'all is well'.. YES INDEED!!

Hi Kavy,

The only and best way is to ask somebody who is coming to Canada to bring your wife's passport....the same way to send the passport back to India. I don't see any other best alternate. Try to find somebody on local Desi Indian websites for example sulekha.com (don't know whether it's services are there in Canada)...and post there to inquire if somebody is coming to Canada and can bring passport with them.

It's going to take long time but this is the best way to do. Since you are still in process, try to start looking for somebody from now itself.

Newayz i have a relative coming in a couple of days and i have asked them to carry it along but the problem is they live in vancouver but i hope that it should not be a problem to mail passport inside canada.

Yeah hope so too buddy but still there is lot of confusion about it as somebody told me that you have to have a entry exit stamps on your passport to travel on a visa. Technically speaking this is complicated but still i ll try to brief you. Suppose the visa is issued at CPP-O in canada and somebody takes my passport back to me and its all fine but technically i havent travelled there and only my passport has travelled but another rule says that it cannot be legal, you have to have an entry - exit stamp. That means when i ll try to go to canada on that visa, indian immigration authorities might not let me. Thats why In canada applicants have to do flag polling to cross the border and then come back just for the sake of this rule. I dont know whats going on. Nobudy is clear is this. Even you ll have to send your passport to CPP-O bt i think US-Canada laws might be different. Just totally confused !!!!!!!!!!
