hey guys,

i got an email for a RPRF payment last march 20, 2013. and i send my payment through courier on the 26th of march. and my eCAS status just changed into "in process" they day i got an email for an RPRF payment. then just a week ago, 6th of april. my eCAS is still "in process" status but this time i got "medicals received" on it. i'm just worried for now cause i haven't got any updates about my application, and the deadline for my RPRF paymeent is this coming 20th of april. i've check my bank which issued the manager's check, and they told me that my check is still outstanding. should i really worry about this matter? do i have to call or email my VO and check about this? or i'll just have to wait and see?

i don't think you should worry the fact that you already sent your payment that means they might have received it already. Better check with the courier if the cheque has been delivered. They should be able to track it. You're few steps closer to finish line.

@ninohet, babakura & iam_ayen

Thank you so much....Goodluck to you guys...

Congrats csponline... :) did you get the ppr email from CIO or CPP - OTTAWA..?

I have a question:

Can I leave Canada for a three week trip back home while my application is in process?

I am from a visa exempt country holding a work permit for two years and plan to go on holiday in June.

My application is in process since March 4th.

Anybody traveled yet?

Thanks for reading.

Why not since you have your work permit (Check if your work permit is multiple entry before you leave )

I have a big question guyz......plz helm me out. I want to know as my spouse is in India and my visa office is CPP-O...once we get PPR, how she is supposed to send her passport to canada because i have i called up few courier companies like DHL/Fedex and they said they cant ship passports to another country especially from India because it is illegal and even if they send it, the customs are going to seize it at the border. Even if i ask someone coming to canada to take her passport along personally, how i am going to send it back because then again indian custom officers are going to seize it. Please anyone know if they are from india and how they have dealt with the situation.

Thanx
Kavy

Hi Kavy,

The only and best way is to ask somebody who is coming to Canada to bring your wife's passport....the same way to send the passport back to India. I don't see any other best alternate. Try to find somebody on local Desi Indian websites for example sulekha.com (don't know whether it's services are there in Canada)...and post there to inquire if somebody is coming to Canada and can bring passport with them.

It's going to take long time but this is the best way to do. Since you are still in process, try to start looking for somebody from now itself.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hey kia & CSP:

I am sure the life after getting PR will be stress less....coz I am out of my country since 2003 and always had to go thru many work permits and visas etc...here we will not be having that headache...We can really concentrate on our career and personal lives...Good luck guys.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
