Can you please share you timeline and when do you applied to CIO ?

My application was received at CIO on July 13, credit card charged Friday 14 Sept, AOR received Sept 18 (yesterday evening).

I applied to CIO on 3rd july but still there is no response and they havenot encashed money yet. Anyone who is in same timeline? Any idea how long it is taking to encash money and get medical request and AOR ?

Have you tried emailing them?

@ aliazad75,

I think you should have got your AOR and MR by this time. As you see the spread sheet (in my signature area), there are few guys whose applications have been received by CIO from 5th July thru 13th July and they got their AOR's and MR's...some of them have finished their medicals as well. I think you need to contact CIO to get an update.

One of our mate here "aajaz" application was received by CIO on July 13 and he got his AOR just yesterday. Your's was received on Aug 23...so, I believe you have to wait at least 40 days more to get your AOR. And the email you got from CIO is very generic one.

Congrats on receiving AOR...you should get your MR maximum by this Friday....I have updated spread sheet with your latest updates.

@ Sarayu yes my medicals were done yesterday, my test results will be sent for processing probably friday. should show on the ecas from end October ...

DMP told me to bring 2 recent photos.

yes 2 photographs one for x ray form and one for bloodwork form but I was told a scanned photo is sufficient as it is for identity reasons.

Yes we need 2~3 photoes depends on clinic. i needed 3 and used pr size.

I have got medical exam twice in canada. first was for work permit. at the moment i used canadian passport size. and second time is for pr just few days ago. anf i used pr size. i dont think it is really matter as long as they can recognise who you are. actually pr size photo is same size with my country's passport size. so for the first time i was confused too.

I have an electronic copy of the same photos that I sent along with my federal application...will get them printed out again...but first let me AOR and MR come....

I think as long as the photos are recent ie. taken within 6 months they should be fine.

ronaldoyaronaldo, I emailed them to ask where's my applications, it took 2 weeks to get response. That was same response to lucas52. I think, I am very close to AOR. Almost 2 months. As I see, now it takes around 2 months to get AOR and med exam.
