a friend of mine submitted his application with out police certificate from syria, seeing how canada closed the syrian embassy, and the only way he can get it is to fly back to syria which is like committing suicide, he still didnt get an AOR, he wrote a letter explaining his situation and how he submitted one when he first came to canada and he didnt leave canada since then. i wonder what they will respond

CANADA POST XPRESS POST SUCKS BIG TIME

:-\ So here is what happened now. 1)DO NOT EVER GO THROUGH XPRESSPOST, CANADA POST 2) NEVER GO TO MEDI CLINIC 8TH STREET SASKATOON. Following are details

Medical sent on 2,Mar,2013
Item in Transitt 4,Mar,2013
Expected delivery 6,mar,2013

But its 14th March 2013 and my mail has not been delivered yet. ...I talked to medi clinic they says that it is in mail to Ottawa.
I called canada post they says we can not give any information to third party, You should be sender or receiver. Medi Clinic says canada post is doing a high priority investigation which sounds like a big name but has no worth of so.

So, what I am doing right now is doing my medicals again with some another doctor as I checked the reviews for Canadapost Xpresspost, thay all says 99% its lost or it will be atleast freaking 1 month investigation. I am stuck so only option is go for medical exam again with another doctor.
Also even if Ottawa immigration receives it twice thats not gonna matter I think.

BUT MY ADVICE TO ALL PEOPLE IN CANADA PLZ DO NOT GO TO CANADAPOST EVER AND DO NOT USE THE XPRESSPOST EITHER.
ALL MY FRIENDS IN SASKATOON PLZ DO NOT GO TO MEDI CLINIC ON 8TH STREET AS BUNCH OF BITCHES WORKS THERE.

first time feeling that I cant do anything as I m watching everything in front of me.

By looking at the other threads I would suggest you to get the tracking no from your doctor. That way you may know who and when received your MR. Good luck for your PPR. Did you received any fee payment request?

I submitted my file with CIO Nova Scotia on jan 25 2013 and got my Medical request yesterday. Got an appointment for 24 March in Saskatoon. What's the procedure after that? How long does it take to get PR after you get your medical?

Did you paid your RPRF? The next step is to pay RPRF than a passport request to stamp visa?

i have got the AOR from the CIO on 18 February ,2013 and the document sent to visa office
my visa office is Nairobi, Kenya,Africa
still nothing is updated on my side but visa office from Africa (Cairo and Accra) Response fast.

i have not any friend in my visa office that also the problem to know how long it take to got medical request , PPR and visa issued .so,if you know friends who have the same visa office in different forum please lets connected me and give me the link.

what steps i have to follow in the time next up?

Hi Dobena

The timeline for applicants are totally different depending on the time CIC received your application and than your VO timelines. But in the end it all depends how long your visa office is taking to complete the application pocess. I have not seen any one with VO nairobi but if you go through other threads and look for their spredsheets you can have an idea.
