Yea thanks for sharing my view. However I think ECAS status should just be one column. our ECAS status can only be one at a time so we can just put it just before Passport returned with Visas. For me its Application received for now.

Hi oYn,

If you are an out side Canada applicant, it may take up to 40 to 45 days for you to get your AOR (as per the current trend)...I think you are almost at 50th day now. Some times you never know, it goes beyond 2 months as well. How did you pay your application processing fees? Was it by credit card OR bank draft? If it was by a draft, check with your bank. If it's already been en-cashed, no doubt you are going to get your AOR any time now.

Usually, CIO sends AOR via E-mail, however they may send you AOR by regular postal service (in case your email has any typo error while you filled your application). If this is the case, CIO uses only regular postal service with no acknowledgement and which might take a couple weeks for us to get that AOR letter.

The best way is to check with your bank...if it was a bank draft, so that you can stay cool if it was en-cashed already. Hope this helps you.

It will come through Email but it's too early to expect. Your VO by tracking sheet is Seoul..generally takes anywhere between 30 to 90 days for outland VO's. Good luck.

They mostly do go to Ottawa but what was the Visa office you mentioned on your form (IMM008) ? Was it Seoul ? If yes then there are pretty good chances that they have sent you there since you did not get your medical so far.

I first thought this was a mandatory field but checked it again and I was able to validate IM0008 without this. This fact coupled with your AOR should leave you at no worries.

The answer to where your application may go: CPP-O or your Citizenship countries VO. You have 2 alternatives:

(a.) Wait for your second round of communication i.e. medical request or 2nd AOR from VO.

(b.) reach out to CIO through email to check where your app is headed ?
