Just make sure you go to an E-medical enabled physician..call all approved ones in your city and ask them if they do online processing. It will cut down medical time by 85 to 90%. Thats the key!

Good luck!

Westjhu,

I just saw your update for medical...congrats mate!!!! This means your application will be processed @ CPP ottawa..!!

Happy for you.

I got mine Medical Request today @ 02:28pm (SK time) for both my wife and me. ;D

After couple days struggling on being proactive to book an appiontment or not.

Everything got straightened out once I received the Medical Request.

Not possible to make an appointment for medical exams in Canada if the clinic has eMedical becasue they will ask you for the IME No. on the medical request form.

Neither the Application file no. nor the UCI no. If anybody want to give a try, you can go ahead. :-X (For the clinics without eMedical, I don't knw. ???)

I think they do it this way to prevent applicants from doing medical exams too early.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below are the reference information for applicants in Saskatoon, SK (but if you are interested, you can still read it to see if it is useful or not)

I book my appointment on April 17, 2013 @ 9:30am and @ 10:40am respectively for me and my wife at 101-3333 8th Street East, Saskatchewan, S7H 4K1

Not a bad choice to have one person done wihin one hour and 10 minutes. $332/person, not cheap at all. :'(

However, this clinic which uses eMedical doesn't require us to take photos. Photos will be taken when we go there.

This saves us $30 to $40 per person on photos. Because the clinic without eMedical, you need to provide 4 photos to go with the medical form.

And I think this clinic is the most morden clinic with better equipments in Saskatoon area.

Because I have been there couple times with my wife. Experience was not bad. Hopefully it will be the same service quality when we go there on April 17, 2013.

At last, the receptionist told me that the it takes 1 to 2 weeks for results to come out.

Once the results come out, they will be transferred to VO(CPP-O Ottawa?) right away.

I don't know how fast it will, hopefully by the end of April 2013, E-CAS wil show me "Medical Results Received".

Good luck to every Feb Crew, yours AOR/MR are coming to you soon!

Thanks, budy! I will confirm with the clinic to see if they will send to CPP Ottawa or not when I go there.

You will be the next, yours will not take long to get to you!

Westzhu,

Your medical results will be sent to CIO-Sydney. This is how it works for inland applicants:

Initial screening (AOR) + Medical + security Check at CIO Sydney for 99 % applicants. Once they verify the case with these criteria's they send the file to CPP-O, who process Criminal check+ RPRF + PPR + Visa... So your medicals should be sent to CIO Sydney. Your medical request email should state that, did you check it in detail ? The fact that your medical came in 3 days after AOR, makes me believe that it has come from CIO. If it was for CPP-O it would have taken atleast a month or so... but that generally does not happen for inland applicants.

For outland applicants : only AOR is processed at CIO and the rest all happens at their VO. Its makes sense to get their medical and further processing done from the country they are in... (however there is no restriction on where you can do the medicals)

The MR email doesn't tell me where my application is going to. I think it will be ended up being process at CPP-O.

I didn't get a MR today :(
Does MR inform by email or regular mail?

Hrik and others in our feb group (inland applicants) have their medicals headed to CIO... I agree that your VO will be CPP-O but that is not where 'most' of medicals are processed for inland applicants. Did your medical email come from the same CIC (AOR) email address ? If yes it was sent by CIO. CPP-O have a different email address I believe.

Anyways, I am sure the physician will have a better idea...so nothing to worry about!!

Cheers!

It will come through Email but it's too early to expect. Your VO by tracking sheet is Seoul..generally takes anywhere between 30 to 90 days for outland VO's. Good luck.

AOR was from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca

MR was from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca

not sure CIO or CPP-O, but I don't think it will be a big problem.

Thanks again, gn53914!
