I 'am one of the December applicants and finally I have an eCas updated that my medicals has been received its has been exactly 3 months as of today

Good news, another step complete. That took along time for that update, but now you know everything is ok. Hope you get PPR soon.

Regards

Andrew

I have question about my medical update.

In my e-cas it says "Medical results have been received" and no date or what so ever, does it say a date for any one ?

P

I also have a question about the ECAS, is "in process" a necessary update for everyone? It's been two and a half month since it updated to "Medical results have been received". Thanks to anyone who could help me on that in advance.

Yeah, it's the same for everyone, i don't think there is a date associated with that line.

Plus, Tweety, I'm new, please add me to the december batch. Thank you

lpl362,

your timeline has been added to CPP-Ottawa applicants file as well. Please check the November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia stream and look for Sarayu's bottom lines. You'll find it there.

Thank you.

Now I got this email today from CIO, but then on May 8 as posted earlier, the email/letter only requested RPRF and it was from The VO in Ottawa. I am somewhat puzzled right now. From my perspective CIO is requesting both RPRF and Passport, yet the VO is only requesting RPRF, confusing ???.I am just wondering if I should call CIO/VO about that.

Congratulations!

There's no date indicated in ECAS for when the medical results was received. You'll know if you are checking it daily.

In my opinion and as what I can see now, MEDICAL HAS BEEN RECEIVED status in ECAS is something that you must be happy about than to have a status of IN PROCESS without MEDICAL HAS BEEN RECEIVED. But ofcourse if you have both of it the better.

But it is more reliable to have an email from the embassy for progress like asking for addtnl or updated docs than to check the ECAS.

It's not always that VO is going to request payment for RPRF with request of passport/s. This request should come from your Visa Office and not from CIO. Just comply with what is asked from you. Follow their instructions.

Hello guys!
My ecas now shows medical results have been received :-)
Please update the tracksheet :-)

Thank you for the clarification Tweety. Well, good luck to everyone on getting PPR or DM. May god bless us.

My payment is through credit card. VO is CPP-Ottawa. Processing fee charged on Jan 20. That's all the info that i can remember now.
