Hi,
how long you think you gonna wait from in process to passport request? Thanks!

Luckyincanada

Hi Luckyincanada,
I have no idea, some people's situation may be different than others. It's all up to the Visa Office now. I am following the track sheet to see my batch mates progress.

Hi blessedniki,

I am keeping checking the timesheep and I realized that they all get their "passport request" around 1 month from their "in process". Do you think is that right? Thanks.

did any one send the following question to Canadian Embassy....

* establishment plan
* what have you done for moving to Canada
* what you would plan to do after you arrive in canada
* trade or professional qualification

please share the experiences....
thank you

Yes, I had to compile an economic settlement plan. It's really quite straight forward, just write a letter and start by saying why you are coming to Canada, how much finances you have etc (Attach proof) The more the better, they need to know that you will be able to support your self when you get there

Talk about your qualifications and if you are ready to work as soon as you land, if not what steps you are taking to ensure you will be able to work.

Talk about who you know in Canada, what employers you have been in contact with and what type of jobs you are interested in.

Tell them about any relatives you have in Canada and about how long they have been there and what they are going to do for you when you arrive.

Talk about your job prospects and whether there is a shortage of people with your skill sets and any evidence you have of the province that you are moving to is advertising for people like you. How long you think it will take you to get a job? do you know anyone from your country with the same skill sets that has successfully settled.

Talk about your housing needs and what you have done to ensure you have a roof over your head when you arrive and that you have people to help you settle.

Really stress the point that you will make an immediate economic contribution to the Canadian economy and why do you think you will, taxes, bringing new skills, new cultures etc.

You just have to sell your self and show that you have done lots of research on your profession, place you intend to live, housing, jobs & family.

We have had RPRF request, but no MR, strange!

Hope this helps

Regards

Andrew

I am also tracking November and December Time sheets and it seems most people who have "In process" are asked for additional documents, then they have to wait again. But for those who weren't asked for additional doc's, the passport is requested within a month. Let's see what happens, I will keep you all updated on my progress when I get some news. Don't worry too much just be patient, yours, mine and our batch mates PPR will come in time. Blessings.

It should be like that. I'm "In Process" ever since April 17, and didn't receive any doc request, so far. All my PCCs were as old as 1.5 months when i submitted my application.
