Answers from the forums I asked about the question, "Is it indicated in our AOR CIO the Visa Office who will process our application?"

"Any future correspondence should be sent to the visa office as indicated on your application"
No specific indication of the Visa Office.

One member who is currently residing in Singapore decided to email CIO,CEM and SGVO to inquire about his AOR VO. He felt that it's been a long time already after his AOR CIO was received and that time he should be receiving his AOR CEM (VO of choice) & MR. The next day, he received an email from SGVO stating that his papers is still in-transit from CIO to Singapore Office. He knows for a fact that in Singapore the processing time is 20 months against the Philippines which is only 11 mos. So, he wrote them a letter requesting a transfer to CEM as originally requested and luckily SGVO replied soon. They have granted his request under the basis of R11 rules. Last Wednesday he received his MR from CEM and notification from SGVO that his papers have been transferred and received by Manila Office.

The other member's choice of VO is also CEM and since he is working in Qatar his application was forwarded to ABuDhabi Visa Office (ADVO). He received his AOR CIO last year June and until now no AOR from ADVO and MR yet.

My VO is Sydney, Australia and according to the timeline PNP processing is 9 months but it seems that it is faster in Manila than here. I received my AOR last 27th November and sent my OWP application last December and still don't have any MR for any of my applications for PNP or OWP. I'm a bit worried now that all my passports are with my current VO and I'm stuck.

Any advice is welcome. :'(

Exact date of LOA - July 20, 2012
Visa Office (VO) - not sure might be CPP ottawa as I am applying within Canada
ECAS: Date when your application was received by CIO - Dec. 10, 2012

Have you heard anything yet re MR, it might be another 1-2 weeks for our batch by assessment.

re: inserting pic of flag as quoted below, the option FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION is not there, do I need to contact the admin or technician for that?

"For the flag, go to PROFILE (uppermost of the screen) and on the left side click FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION. Then in PERSONALIZED PICTURE, choose country flags"

If anyone else could suggest as well I will take other ideas or help. Thanks.

2. date when ECAS started to work after receiving your AOR?...This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/12/05.
3. date when processing fee was encashed?... 14 Jan 2013
4. AOR CIO dated?...24/01/13

I dont really understand that abbreviation ECAS, do always explain better, i got email from CIC first followed by CIO am sure it is the CIC you that ECAS and it is what i received from them i put i number 2 question you ask

ECAS, I assume that "E" stands for Electronic but I am sure that "CAS" is Client Application Status.
