Tracking PNP December 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

I'm a newbie here. Tweety I would like to know what AOR means? Also I had applied under the PNP employer direct stream and I received an email from CIO today that says they have submitted my file to the visa office for processing as it is complete. Is it the visa office that requests the medicals? If so how long would I have to wait for the request of medical from CIC and after the meds are done, how soon do they ask for passport/s?

AOR stands for Acknowledgement Of Receipt. You actually received the AOR from CIO. Yes. it is the Visa Office (VO) of your choice. Your VO will send the Medical Request (MR). Usually, it will take a month or less for your MR and it will be faster if you are applying from Canada. PPR? don't know yet.

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/12/05.

same day i got from CIO,Below is what i recieved from CIO

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Program.



Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).



Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

please tell me is this progress and what step am i going to now? is this AOR you guys talking about, i was give Application number and UCI in the email the they sent

email received at 9:33 AM Manila time
was checking at 3AM, 5 AM, 7AM and lost hope that we'll get it today but lo and behold!!!!!! when i wasn't checking it came hahahaha!!!

I only got 1 email from CIO, it is the 2nd email you got. The email with UCI and Application number is the AOR.

Clarification , when did you exactly got the email from CIO with UCI and application #?

You are very lucky if your MR will be in 1-2 weeks, we will be lucky if we get MR from London VO in 2-3 months!
