Any news from previous months' applicants (March2012 to July2012)?

No news yet, most of us have applied for the GCMS hopefully by 1-2 week of February we would receive it. Have only seen some June 2012 applicant getting PPR. PPR has been drastically slow from Ottawa since the beginning of January 2013..

Hi guys. This morning I got email from CIO.
They want me to send original copy of Police Certificate of my country.
But i remember i already sent one when i submitting application package.
Is it normal proceeding?

They didn't ask me anything as of yet. I remember i did submit it with my application package.

I guess they are currently assessing the Eligibility / Criminality Citeria. The one you sent when wast it sent ? Because normal Police Certificate are valid for about 1 year. Send what they requested to them ASAP so that they can transfer your application to CPP-O

Just want to give you all a quick update about my application, today i contacted the MP responsible for my constituency concerning my application was told that "Medicals, Eligibility & Criminality are completed" but only the "Security checks that is pending".

Hopefully i receive my GCMS in the next two weeks to confirm it.

Member of Parliament, there special assistant or secretary are always being the one handling such requests. Have you applied for your GCMS ?

Not yet. I think it's too early to do so. I'll wait till mid-end of February

Guys...Do you've any idea if the ecas shows "In Process" ...what does it actually mean? Is it mean my application is in CPP-Ottawa?

Did they already complete all criminality and security checks.

I know they've received medical results (As per ecas).

It means that your application has been sent to CPP-O and that Medicals / Eligibility are completed.

hello i am new at this forum. I submitted my application to CIO in August too, my timeline is exactly same with the guy OJEOLA. i submit the application on 10 Aug, AOR 10 Oct. and medical done on 18 Oct. Ojeola i wanna ask you when cic start processing on your file. My ecas shown they start processing on my file on 8 Dec.

Hi, good to see you guys doing progress!
I'm still stuck at stage one.
My application is different from most here because I am not in Canada and its being processed by the VO in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After the AOR on October 18th, nothing else has happened, they haven't asked me yet for the medicals or anything else.
I submitted an inquiry to the visa office to learn about my current status but the only reply I got was an automated one saying that if my application was within the normal processing time (12 months) I would not get any answers.
Does anyone else have experience with timing on PNP from abroad?
