Dear Friends,

I appreciate the way you all are exchanging updates on respective applications and sharing valuable information.
My ecas status is as under:
We received your application for permanent residence on May 15, 2012.
We started processing your application on August 7, 2012.
When can I expect my medicals, prpf fees and passport request from the VO. As per my understanding within one week of the date of processing start date they use to send request for these details on email and for medicals submit timeline is 45 days.

Regards,

baba2613,
If you are in Canada - it will take like 3 weeks(you will get it by post).
If in India, you will get in a week (mostly email).

Thanks tide breaker , how about ur timeline... It's being long after ur file revived by ND but didn't get n e medical? Generally how much time taken by ND for whole process...

Jaggu,
for my timeline, check the spreadsheet.
I got my medical on Aug 8th, 2012.
Delhi takes between 2 to 6 months, after you get your AOR-VO.

Hi Everyone,

With my MR/PPR i also received CIIP letter & believe all who have received MR/PPR so far would have received it. Has anyone attended this program so far, would this in any way affect our application process?

regards,
ASJ

Dear Tidebreaker,

Thanks for the reply.

I am in India and it is almost 2 weeks since my status updated to "In Process" and I have not received any communication on this. As VO not update on ecas about the request for medical and other details to the applicant (whether or when they have sent), I am confused what shall I do now. Shall I email them regarding this or wait for some more time :'(.

Hay ASJ

I too did have my CIIP letter with MR and PPR. I had a detailed talk in this concern with the respective person on the chair and even had telephonic communication. It is nothing but a burst-about bubble as CIC do not really heed about MPNP for orientation sessions as indicated in CIIP document. It is mainly for federal class, as per I was informed they (CIC) do not conduct 'really' any orientation for MPNPs but for Feds only.

Timeline;

LOA ; 20 mar 12
AOR NS ; 13th April 12
Reached VO - ND on 30th may
Got MR / PPR / ROPR ; 24 July 12
Med test / PPs Recvd at NDVO on 31st July 12
Status eCAS updated as 'Medical results recieved' on 10th Aug
BD cashed on 2nd Aug 12
Visa .. awaiting .....!

Bravow9,

Thanks for sharing the information. Are you planning to attend the program or you will not?

Thanks for sharing your timelines, i am putting them in the tracksheet but need some more information like:
1. When was your application received at Nova Scotia CIC? This you can get from the courier service consignment number.
2. When did you receive AOR from NDVO?
3. Which stream you applied in - Family support, General or Skilled?
4. When did your Processing Fees DD (which is sent to NS CIC) got encashed?

Please share this information and i will put them in tracker, you can take a look at the tracker by clicking on the link in my signature below.

Thanks,
ASJ

Not Really as they just all had for me (or all MPNPs was an electronic link that directs to an hour long vdo recording and u just have to listen to it .. noting else .. as they are not conducting any personal orientation session but only vdo session....... better to look that upon sitting on ur computer at home .. they dont even really invite MPNPs to attend it .. it is only for FEDs

Do anyone really know what they guys do after receiving Med Tests and even en-cashing the RoPR fees / I mean, the time they take between this process and delivering the passports...what goes underground meanwhile ????

Is the passport delivered through India Post or through any courier service ?

Give it some more time. No need to email them. You will hear soon....

Could someone please, if possible, answer this question for me?

Seems like everybody got "In Progress" first before they receive Medical request. How come my ECAS didn't receive the "In Progress" line before "Medical results have been received"? Does that mean they haven't started processing/estimating my stuff?

"We received your application for permanent residence on May 1, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

My timeline:

1. BCPNP - Strategic Occupations Component
2. Application mailed to Nova Scotia near the end of May (CIO)
3. Application was eceived on May 1, 2012
4. En-cash May 18, 2012
5. AOR and Medical Request Forms received on June 19
6. Body check done June 21
7. Medical results received message appeared on ECAS around Aug 15ish

Thanks,

S
