Tracking PNP April 2012 application to CIO (Nova Scotia)

I sent my application to Nova Scotia as well. But AOR sent from Ottawa. To be honest, ECAS doesnt mean anything. I think our PPR are coming soon, hopefully Let's keep each other informed.

Here is my timeline:


PNP certificate received: 20th/March/2012
Application received @ CIC: 1st/May/2012
AOR + Medical: 19/June/2012
Medical done: 21/June/2012
ECAS was updated with "Medical results have been received" around Aug 15th

Current Status @ Ecas:

"We received your application for permanent residence on May 1, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

Did you mail your PR application to Ottawa rather than Nova Scotia? I mailed mine to CIO NS, maybe that's why I am so much slower than you??

Hi Believing,

You must be busy with your packing & other related things for flying to Canada. I need some information from you. As in your previous posts you confirmed that you managed to get a job offer while in your home country & you mentioned Canadian address in your resume i am also planning to do the same but i need to know what phone/contact number did you mentioned in your resume. Was it your Canadian friend/relative's phone number you provided?

If i provide my home country's contact number then employer's & job consultants may not be able to contact me and if i provide my Canadian friend/relative's phone number then they can just take the message from calling employer's and tell them that i am still to get the visa but will give me employer's message and in turn i will call them afterwards.

Is this the way you did? If not please suggest what approach did you take?

I included my friend's address and phone but mentioned in my covering letter that I would prefer email communications. Although few potential employers called my friend and he just told them to email me that I am not around at the moment. Hope this helps

I just thought I should pop in to encourage friends. Please be positive that all things will work out together for good if you believe. Let me know if there is any info you need apart from the ones already answered by other forum members.

A lot of people were asking me about the company that did my resume but seriously I cant remember their name but am sure there are quite a lot of companies that offer such services

Today when i checked my eCAS i saw an update which is:

Your current Home Address
Manitoba, Canada

It gave me a feeling of happiness but the status is still in Process. Has anyone else's Canadian address appeared before the decision is made on their application? Please share.

I wish all my fellow applicants hear soon from their respective VOs about the good news
