I think things will be moving faster as there are not many applications after the new rules came into effect.

I do not think so. The backlog is huge, especially for the GTA. CIC promised old rules applicants to process before March 2016...

I'm not worried about mine as my application reached on Jun 10th & I'm not eligible for new Rule for next 2yrs

Don't worry too much about ecas as long as you have the email stating about you AOR. Ecas is not fully reliable. It will update shortly. Most applicants ecas got updated between 2 days to 1 week it should be updated by the end of the week.

I almost fainted besides my mail box when i saw a white envelope from cic. But then i realized that its was the book (Discover Canada) that i ordered. Let me tell you the book is pretty thick compared to the amount of questions asked in the exam.

Just an update on my application, I have received my AOR via e-mail today (8/12/2015) - my application was received by CIC on 6/25/2015. I have also updated the timeline spreadsheet.

Make sure you are entering the correct information especially the UCI number.

My timeline:
Application sent on June 9th with exactly 1095 days of physical presence
Application received on June 10th
AOR received on August 12th

Let's wait for another month or 2 now
