I landed on March 7th in Toronto. I have still no updates on my PR cards. Tried linking my PR card application online but getting "No details found".
Finally, we were able to link it. There was some confusion regarding the date of landing. We got there past 12 am and the officer considered the previous day as the day we became PRs (mentioned in CoPR as well), whereas the computer system took the right day of landing as the date we became PRs.

Also, the place of birth had to be entered in this format in CAPS
[City printed in CoPR] followed by space [Full State name].

I went to Scotiabank yesterday and they are asking for a proof of address to open a bank account. Do you happen to know if other banks are asking for this as well? I remember reading someone had opened an account with TD without POA. Thanks!
RBC Does not ask. They ask for COPR and Passport only.

Yes, i opened an account with RBC as well and they didn't require a POA.

In fact, i used the bank statement i received from RBC sent to that address as my POA lol.
