I landed on 14th Apr, called agent today, she said the application is still in process....I dont really understand how hard for them to print cards after we officially landed. This is just something out of my mind.

Seems people who landed between April 10-15 will get their cards this week.Sucks it went up to 52 days. Really are humans printing these which is why it is so slow? Why isn't this automated in a factory that can churn out hundreds of cards each day?

Also thanks Baji and Ba2lamaz

I have a question.

How does one know that the PR card has been sent to production?
Is there any link where I can track my PR card's progress?

On the card you have the validation date for example 11 may 2022 and you receive card at 22 may 2017 so I think this date is your production date

Finally able to log in..

Day 50. Card not in production yet. Status is "image pending" according to the call centre agent.

The agent said she cannot sent a message to production because the processing time has been updated to 52 days instead of 46 and the previous message was declined by production.

Personally think the processing time should be locked down on the day of landing.

Travelling next Friday, not likely to receive card before departure although I still hope that I will...

Anyone who has experience applying for Permanent Resident Travel Document?

Well, the downsides of still not having the card are 1) you can't leave without a proper alternative which is also troublesome, 2) lacking a photo ID for many things and 3) not having a handy document (copr is a bit big and fragile). The utter inefficiency is amazing. My home country is way smaller and people almost always get passports and ID on time. People can even apply for quick documents by paying more. I could do the same if this country allowed it. Having to wait for another 52 or more days isn't fun.
