HI, im compused about the TVR and Visa excemption. because i read that if i have a TVR i can apply for a permanent residence here inside canada. i want to know if the visa exemption can apply also for a PR. i am a spanish citizen and we're allowed to stay in canada for 6 months without visa. im planing to apply for a extention before i finish my 6 months of stay. i was thinking it is possible to apply for a PR insteAD FOR a extention od stay. can someone help me pls. thank you so much
 
Yes - you can apply for PR (if you qualify to apply).
 
thanks for the reply, how do i know if i can apply for PR inside Canada. i just came here as visitor and since i don't need visa to enter Canada, i just came here and the immigration stamp my passport that im allowed to stay inside Canada within 6 months. thanks!

Reading your previous posts, you are already a PR but have been asking about how your father can stay, so I'm assuming you are speaking of him in this post.

He cannot simply apply for PR. He must actually qualify through one the economic immigrations streams, or if you and your husband meet the income requirements, you can look at parent sponsorship.
