For work permit normal processing time is 11 weeks. Go check in which category u applied to get an idea of ur application processing time.
Brother work permit are three kinds

Work permit extension new employee
Work permit extension same employee
All of them have different processing time go to cic website to check urs
My visitor visa online submitted date 26 Apiril 2019 got my biometric done on 01 May 2019 and i have also received correspondance letter on 6th May 2019. Still waiting!!! Online status is on Final decision. Is anyone on the same boat ?
Know few who are on the same boat. Mine was applied on 15 march online 15 april correspondence letter. Waiting for decision
You need to write down a letter stating the purpose of your travel and where will you visiting during your 5 days travel. If you are applying tourist visa you can simply define the tourist places that you will be planning to visit there. If your purpose is to visit your family or friends write down their full address and give your statement you are planning to visit there or going to stay there.
Applied for TRV online on 10th May 2019, Biometrics done on 16th May in Lahore and updated online on 17th May. Haven't heard from then since then. Online tracking shows they are currently doing background checks and reviewing my eligibilty, it has not changed since I submitted the application.

I need your help i am a married guy with a wife and 2 sons. I have recently travelled back from united arab emirates to pakistan after staying there foe 20+ years. I am currently working with my father in our property investment business and i want to visit canada with my family can i apply with my father being the sponser as his statement is stronger then mine. And he owns many premium properties.

processing time for pakistan is 38 days after they receive your biometrics and that time is to process 80% of applications. people may get their resuly in 15_20 days but in few cases it can take couple of months as well. Pakistan applications are processed in Abu Dhabi and there were local eid holidays from 2nd june to 8th june at abu dhabi, so embassy remain closed.your biometrics were updated on 17th May so you ll be hopefully expecting your decision in this week I.e anywhere between 9th of june to 14th of june

yes, you can apply with you father while your wife and kids stay back as your family ties to home country. you can even apply alone if you have reasonable bank statement and your father can sponsor your visit by providing sponsor letter. but still even if you and your father both apply together, you ll have to show your own ties to your home country and same to your father.
