My parents further medicals from Cardiologist were done May 25th 2018 at NDelhi. Today I received and email from CIC- Ottawa whereby the have requested to submit the following docs for my parents:
1) New Passport copies as the previous one is expired
2) IMM5562 (Supplementary Information – Your Travels)
3) RPRF
4) Police Certificate

Anyone in the same boat or had the same experience share their experience if this means medical is passed? Or still chance of refusal

Regards
A

Hello. I am new to this forum. I have two quick questions for the group. 1. Are police certificates always required? Or are there cases when IRCC does not ask for them at all? I am thinking of asking my parents to do their police certificates in anticipation of the request from IRCC.
2. Are there any Russian speakers on this forum? My parents are wary about not having any friends when they arrive. I was thinking of putting them in touch with some Russian speakers of their age who will also be settling in Canada soon. Anyone in Ottawa in particular?

This day has finally happened! My parents got the invitation to submit passports for visas - the same day their repeat medicals were received.

They are in Canada now, and their US visas expired just days ago (ironically), so I wonder what the best way for them to land would be. Is crossing the bridge to US but not going into the US and coming back still an option? Some of my friends did that years ago, but I've read somewhere it may no longer work.

Thanks to everyone for the support and good luck to those waiting!
You don't need a US visa as they are not really allowing you to enter US. There will be border check and you can tell them the purpose that you have reached the US border is for Canada PR immigration services. They understand it, check your documents and send you back.

я ;) pm to me
PCC is always required

Have you checked 2018 LICO? Is it possible that LICO is increased in 2018 comparing to 2016? I checked the CRA web and we are able to change the total income (NOA line 150) and request for new NOA with updated data. In case there is really a small shortage for LICO, you could think about to update your optian C first and then appeal for SA. This might be a way!

I meet the LICO and they have sent explanation document where they have created a table (i can't copy paste here) in which they took my income and compared with my family size and LICO. 2014,2015 it says YES, 2016 says NO bcoz family size they counted is 4 which is wrong. Anyone know if we can contact Mississauga office or not bcoz in that letter they said do not contact us and contact Ottawa CPC.

Congratulations!!
I think it is still an option but I read somewhere that they allow it only certain days of the way( haven't dig deeper into that info yet).

Good luck with your landing. Please let us know your experience after.

Correction - only certain days of the WEEK

After paying RPRF fee and sending the email with receipt. Is it possible for us to check that it is applied to correct account, just to make sure. As reading from the emails and the mess up in IRCC, I donot trust the IRCC people to do it correctly.

2nd medical was done on May 16th and CIC ecas says "Medicals Received". I already paid RPRF fees and submitted PCC a year ago. Lets see now what happens and how long the wait is :)
